"hello my lovely angel" a voice said as arianna opened the door to her apartment.
"PARKER" arianna squealed of excitement as she quickly engulfed the boy into a hug.
parker johnson has been one of arianna's best friends since they were in elementary school. he's stood by her through everything.
parker was also an actor. growing up the two of them always talked about going into the entertainment industry, interestingly enough they both ended up making it.
they haven't seen each other in about a year because parker has been working on a few different projects outside of LA so he's been away for a while.
"you didn't tell me you were back!" arianna looked at the boy in shock pulling away from the hug. "come on in"
parker walked into her apartment scanning the place, "wow i'm now realizing i've never seen the inside of your place before"
"well you're the one who decided to be this hot shot actor who never spends time with me anymore" arianna said as they moved over to the couch.
"well you're the one who decided to move out of new york and become this hot shot music artist with her boy band boyfriend" parker joked sitting down next to arianna. "how is he by the way? what was his name...cayden?"
"corbyn" arianna corrected him.
"corbyn righttt" parker nodded. "how are things going with him?"
arianna shrugged, "things are fine i guess"
parker furrowed his eyebrows, "you guess?"
arianna nodded making the boy in front of her look confused. truth be told arianna and corbyn haven't talked since her blow up at him, that was a few days ago.
corbyn took a while but he realized he was wrong and tried calling and texting the girl but she hadn't picked up. she still needed time and didn't want to have that conversation over the phone.
"you guess things are fine with your boyfriend that you supposedly see every single day?" parker pressed on.
"we got into a fight and haven't talked since because i'm still mad and don't want to say something i'll most definitely regret" arianna sighed. "but he was being such a dickhead and kind of deserves whatever comes at him"
"hey ari, i'm gonna need you to breathe because i'm not trying to send you to a hospital when you pass out" parker laughed stopping the girl from her rant.
arianna hadn't even noticed she wasn't breathing until he mentioned it "oh sorry"
"it's fine love but just slow down, now what exactly did he do?"
"he hung out with this girl he knows i don't like and then continued to somehow flip the problem onto me" arianna explained.
"the fuck? how and why did he do that?" parker asked the girl.
"i don't even know why he did it but he said i'm just very distant, which in some way is true since i don't like to let people in really" arianna started.
"but he's like the one person i've ever fully let in, other than you and my brother, but he knows i don't do the whole trust thing easily so for him to say i'm detached....hurt"
"he said you were detached?" parker asked for clarity as the girl nodded. "well he's stupid"
"i don't know maybe he had a point" arianna shrugged.
"no ari he was in no way right to say that" parker shut down. "he can be frustrated all he wants but what he said was wrong"
"first of all he was the one hanging out with a girl you were uncomfortable with, a fact he knew already" parker pointed out. "so if he was to say anything it should've been; sorry"
"yeah i just feel bad because i think he is actually sorry but i've been ignoring his calls and texts" arianna told him sheepishly.
"wait- he's been texting you?" parker asked as arianna nodded. "okay well now you're the stupid one"
arianna's head shot up, "what? how?"
"because he's probably trying but nothing is going to change or move on if you ignore him stupid" parker shook his head. "so text him back now and plan for him to meet up"
"okay fine" arianna laughed a bit and pulled out her phone to text her boyfriend.
