3rd Person POV:

The Struggle for Trost rages on below a gray sky. Rain threatens to pour down upon the cadets trapped within the city of hell.

Right now a group of five cadets find themselves trapped on a rooftop with four of them being seriously injured. The last one standing has nothing but dull blades.

As the jaws of death belonging to a 12 meter titan race towards the cadets all seems bleak.

And then the sound of metal tearing through flesh sounds out as the titan drops. A womanly figure lands on the rooftop with the cadets.

Bianca's POV:

Bianca: You guys okay?

I ask while out of breath. My face feels hot, must be from the titan blood.

The cadets nod and i turn towards the supply room.

It's completely surrounded and no supplies are coming out from there. The people inside are either dead or cowering in some room.

Bianca: I have to find Y/N...they've got to be out there somewhere.

I step off the building and start maneuvering my way through the titan infested Trost.

I can't leave this hellhole until I find Y/N. Damn the retreat order. I know those cadets are trapped here with little to no gas.

How long has it been since the gate was destroyed? How many have died all in the name of humanity? Nearly all of the Garrison stationed here is dead. If not all of them.

I come to a stop on a rooftop as I hear the sounds of thuds to my left. I turn to see two cadets squaring off with a 12 meter titan. They both look pretty familiar.

I watch as they bring the titan down to the ground. I make my way towards them.

Bianca: Cadets.

They both turn to look at me. Blood, scrapes and dirt cover their bodies. These two have been through the trenches it seems.

Bianca: Wait...I know you two. Violet and Alexandra right? Where's your team?

Violet: We got separated...

They both look up at me.

Bianca: You were with my sibling? Where are they?

I look around the area but I don't see them.

Bianca: Y-You two were in their squad right?

Violet hangs her head as Alexandra holds her own side in pain.

Alexandra: They're gone...

No. No that can't be. I know I haven't seen them for a long time but goddamnit we're L/N's. We're natural born warriors.

Bianca: What? I don't think I heard you properly.

Violet: They...they're dead.

The violet girl looks up at me with tears threatening to spill.

I grip the handles of my blades tightly.

Bianca: How? How did my only family left die?

My words come through my gritted teeth.

Alexandra: Someone in our squad got trapped by titans.

I see the Alexandra girl wince a bit.

Alexandra: They ordered us to keep moving while they went back for her...I don't even think they were named squad leader...we just followed them.
