We had returned from our expedition battered and bruised. Due to our failure to capture the female titan and accomplish the expedition's goal, Eren was to be taken by the military police for execution.

For now we're back at HQ. Tomorrow we will be handing Eren over. Ain't that some shit?

I sit alone in my room opening up the book from the Citadel. And I start to read.

"How do I explain this?...okay the de ja vu for starters. You...I...WE have seen this all before. Just slightly different."

Y/N: How the hell is this happening?

"Your probably asking how the hell this is happening aren't you? Fair enough. The complete answer is complicated and honestly confusing but the answer is our blood and someone else."

Y/N: Our blood?

There's a knock at my door. I quickly close my book and stash it under my pillow.

Y/N: Yeah?

It opens and Commander Erwin stands at my door. I quickly shoot to my feet and salute.

Erwin: At ease L/N.

Y/N: Right...what can I do for you sir?

Erwin: Actually we need your hand. Your friend said we would need you.

He starts to walk away and I follow him into a meeting room. Inside is Captain Levi, Captain Hange, Armin, Mikasa and Armin.

Armin: Ah Y/N thanks for coming.

Y/N: Yeah what's up?

Armin: Well we aren't handing Eren over...

I nod.

Y/N: I had a feeling that would happen. What's the plan?

Armin: Actually we think we know who the female titan is.

Y/N: Wait really? Who?

Mikasa: Annie.

Eren: Hey we don't know that for sure!

I feel a weird pain in my chest. But...it makes sense. The hair, the eyes, her checking who we were out in the field and their combat prowess.

Y/N: What's the plan then?

Armin: We're supposed to hand Eren off in Stohess. Instead we'll disguise Jean as Eren. Meanwhile the four of us will make contact with Annie and have her help us escape the city.
