Part 15: Prime's Secret

Riley's POV

Jetfire: ''Yes. You see, in the beginning, there were seven Primes, our original leaders. And they set out into the universe, seeking distant suns to harvest. The Primes set out with one rule, never destroy a planet with life, until one of them tried to defy this rule. And his name forevermore was the Fallen.''

Jetfire opens up his hand and he showed us the hologram of the Fallen.

Jetfire: ''He despised the human race and he wanted to kill you all by turning on that machine. The only way to activate it is what a legendary key called the .''

Jetfire showed us the Matrix and on the next scene came a battle.

Jetfire: ''A great battle took place over possession of the Matrix. The Fallen was stronger than his brothers, so they had no choice but to steal and hide it from him. In the ultimate sacrifice, they gave their lives to seal the Matrix away in a tomb made of their very own bodies. A tomb that we cannot find. Somewhere, buried in this desert, that deadly machine remains. The Fallen knows where it is and if he finds the tomb of the Primes, your world will be no more.''

Mikaela: ''Okay, so how do we stop him?''

Jetfire: ''Only a Prime can defeat the Fallen.''

Me: ''Optimus Prime?''

I asked as I was looking at the ground. Jetfire's face came close to me.

Jetfire: ''So, you've met a Prime? Why you must have met a great descendant. Is he alive, here on this planet?''

My right hand became a fist when I heard his voice asking me.

Me: ''He sacrificed himself to save me.''

Jetfire: ''So he'd dead. Without a Prime, it's impossible.''

A tear came down my right cheek and the moment it touched the sand it despaired.

Jetfire: ''Looked at me girl.''

I looked up and our eyes meet. He came closer and I could see that he was looking for something inside my eyes.

Jetfire: ''You are his mate.''

He said as he went back up not removing his eyes away from me.

Jetfire: ''You can bring him back. You are the key.''

Me: ''Please tell me what this means.''

Jetfire: ''Primes are different from other transformers. It never happened before that a Prime found a mate. You are his key. You are the key to bringing him back to life. You can do that because he gave you a little piece of his spark.''

When I heard that I took a step back.

Sam: ''What? How? How do you know?''

Jetfire: ''There's a blue line inside of her eyes.''

Me: ''His spark.''

Sam came to me and looked into my eyes. When he took a step back, I knew that it was true when I saw the shock in his eyes.

Mikaela: ''But how is this possible?''

Jetfire: ''The only reason it would be that she gave up her life for him.''

When I hear that I took another step back. When I sacrificed my life for him, he gave me a piece of his spark, so my heart began to beat again. My heart is beating because of his spark.

Jetfire: ''You have a power of the Primes inside of you. You can find the Matrix of Leadership.''

Me: ''So, the same energy that's gonna be used to reactivate the machine, could that energy bring Optimus back to life?''

Jetfire: ''It was never designed for that purpose, but it's an energy like no other. Follow your mind, followed the symbols, and followed the path of the Primes. When dawn alights the Dagger's Tip, Three Kings will reveal the doorway. Find the doorway. Go now! Go! That was supposed to be your mission all along. Go before the Decepticons find me and find you.''

With that, we left. Bee was driving first with twins close behind. I was sitting behind the wheel and Simmons was sitting next to me. As he was talking on the phone I was thinking what Jetfire said: ''When dawn alights the Dagger's Tip, Three Kings will reveal the doorway.

Simmons: ''Okay, here's what my CIA contact says. Ancient Sumerians used to call the Gulf of Aqaba the ''Dagger's Tip.''

Sam: ''That's the Dagger's Tip.''

Simmons: ''It's part of the Red Sea. It divides Egypt and Jordan like the tip of a blade. 29.5 degrees north, 35 easts. Here it is.''

He said showing all of us the map on his phone.

Me: ''First thing we've got to do is get Optimus to the Dagger's Tip.''

Leo: ''How are you gonna get him halfway around the world?''

Me: ''I'm gonna make a call.''

Bee began to drive faster and soon I could hear sirens.

Sam: ''We got cops.''

I saw two police cars coming our way, but Bee and twins quickly drew past them and began to drive faster.

Leo: ''I can't go to prison, guys.''

As we got to the small city there were more police cars behind us.

Simmons: ''Riley, we got to get off this road and lay low.''

Me: ''Bee.''

The three bots began to drive faster. When we lost them a little and as we came around the corner we stop.

Simmons: ''Hide.''

He said and we quickly ran behind the buildings. Bee and the twins changed into their human forms and just as we all hide the police cars drew past us.

Skids: ''Man, stupid cops.''

Mudflap: ''This is what's called blending in like a ninja.''

Mikaela: ''They are gone.''

Me: ''We are running out of time. I gotta make the call to Lennox.''

I said as I looked at Simmers.

Simmers: ''You're on the Worldwide Wanted List. Try calling one base, they'll track you here in seconds. CIA is all over this place!''

Me: ''We don't have any other choice.''

I said and he knew that I was right. We were running out of time and we did not know how far Megatron and the Fallen were. So we need to act fast.
