Part 17: The Matrix

Riley's POV

Me: ''Sam! I figured out!''

I said as I run upstairs.

Sam: ''What? Hey Leo, Simmons wake up!''

As I got on the top of the temple I turned around and looked at others who came after me.

Me: ''Okay, you see those three stars?''

I asked as I point towards the stars behind me.

Mikaela: ''Yes.''

Me: ''You see how the last one touches the horizon? That's Orion's belt, but it's also called the Three Kings. And the reason for that it the three Egyptian kings who build the pyramids of Giza build them to mirror the stars, so it's like an arrow staring us straight in the face.''

Simmons: ''They all point due east, towards Jordan. The mountains of Petra.''

Sam: ''Riley you are genius. Let's go.''

A few hours later...

Me: ''It's gotta be around here somewhere.''

Leo: ''How do you know?''

Me: ''I can feel it.''

Just then as I came around the corner I stop. There was a big temple just around the corner.

Simmons: ''You see the size of this?''

Skids: ''Spectacular.''

Mikaela: ''Amazing.''

Me: ''Bee stay and watch, twins come along.''

As I came to the big temple, I climbed on top of a giant stair.

Me: ''It's here somewhere, guys.''

I said as I began to look around. I could feel that something really strong and powerful was here but did not know where.

Leo: ''Yeah, why? Cause we're trusting Grandpa Blackbird who doesn't even know what planet he's on?''

Simmons: ''In his defense, this is the biggest doorway I've ever seen in my entire life.''

Leo: ''Okay. Well, that's great. Let me do a quick search all right? Nope. Ever cross your mind, guys, that archeologists have been here before? There's nothing here.''

Simmons: ''Real life is heartbreak, despair, kid.''

I took a seat on the ground and began to think. Maybe the Matrix was here but someone took it because the temple was fully empty.

Simmons: ''Sometimes you get to the end of the rainbow and the leprechauns went and booby-trapped it!''

Leo: ''I'm listening to you? You live with your mother!''

Sam: ''It's not over.''

Leo: ''It is over. It's done.''

I tried to focus. We came so far and not we are going to give up? I don't think so. The twins began to fight. Sam was trying to call them down, but they were acting like two little kids.

Me: ''Bee!''

He came in and when he saw that was going on, he took both of them smash them together, and then he threw them out of the temple. I closed my eyes. The energy that was around me was too powerful to be long gone. Matrix was somewhere close.

Voice: ''Riley.''

My eyes shot open. I stood up and turned around. As I came to the wall I placed my hand on the wall. There was something behind the wall.

Me: ''Bee blast here.''

Sam: ''Riley?''

Me: ''Trust me.''

I said and as I got out of the way Bee shot the wall. As we came back to see what was behind the wall a big smile came on my face. There I was the bodies of the Primes. Simmons gave me the flashlight and I step inside of the room first. The room was not big but there was still enough space for us to move between the bodies.

Simmons: ''Check this out.''

Leo: ''Who are they?''

Me: ''The Primes that sacrificed their lives to save the Matrix.''

Mikaela: ''Riley you are amazing.''

Leo: ''Yo!''

I took two steps forward when my eyes stopped on a small object that was on top of an open hand.

Me: ''The Matrix.''

I said and everyone else came around the hand. I went on my knees and slowly placed my hands around the Matrix. Cheerfully I began to lift it up. Suddenly the Matrix turned into dust. A gasp was heard out of my mouth as my hands began to shake.

Me: ''No. No.''

I took the sand in my hands trying to see if I was imagining things, but I wasn't.

Simmons: ''Thousand of years turned to dust.''

Me: ''No. This isn't how it's supposed to end.''

I said not removing my eyes away from the dust in front of me.

Simmons: ''Hear that?''

Simmons ren out of the tomb. I was not able to move. Tears began to roll down my eyes.

Mikaela: ''You can't bring him back Riley.''

Me: ''No.''

Mikaela: ''There's nothing left.''

I stood up with the great speed and looked at her.

Me: ''Look around you! We didn't just go through everything we went through for no reason at all, to just have it end like this. There is a reason that we are here. Primes led us here for a purpose.''

I rip up my bandage that was around my hand witch Sam used for my scratch and began to gather sand that became of the Matrix.

Me: ''Everyone is after me because of what I know, and I know that this will work.''

Mikaela: ''How do you know that it's gonna work?''

Sam: ''Because she believes.''

I looked up at my brother and he smiled at me. As I gather all the dust, I tied the bandage up and placed it inside of my jacket. The moment we came outside of the temple we ren up to Simmons and Leo.

Simmons: ''Look.''

He said pointing forward. I saw two army planes. They open up and army men began to jump down. There were Autobots as well. But the moment I saw Optimuses body falling a tear came rolling down my eyes.

Me: 'I will bring you back.'

Simmons: ''You think you can bring him back to life with that pixie dust?''

Me: ''Yes.''

Simmons: ''Fine by me.''

Sam: ''Let's go.''

We were driving towards the way the army land it as fast as we could. The army shot the rocket in the air showing us their location.

Sam: ''That's them.''

A bad feeling came over me. I looked up at the sky and saw something flying towards us.

Me: ''BEE!''
