New Job

"DOTTY NO!!!!" Pete yells before being kicked in the stomach, I heard his ribs crunch.
"Stop! Just let him go and I'll do whatever you want" I cry, desperate to get Pete medical help. I know Johnny is around so he can get Pete to the hospital.
"Such a brave flower, sacrificing yourself for your useless brother" the man whispers as he licks my wounded ear, I hiss as it stings. Suddenly I'm thrown onto a table, my head pushed down into the metal surface and my jeans being tugged from my hips.
"STOP! STOP IT" Pete yells as the fisherman grabs Petes head to make him watch. The fisherman holds a gun in Petes mouth to shut him up and my arse is exposed.

Tears stream down my face as my face hurts being pressing into the table. I try to wiggle free but I'm too scared to gather strength, my T-shirt is ripped from my body and he uses the remains to tie my hands behind my back. I feel something had prodding me as I brace myself for the pain when I gun shot rings throughout the boat. Petrified I look to Pete who is still alive, but the fisherman looks at us in horror.
The man who is holding me down, his grip slackens as he screams in pain

"AAAHHHHH MY ARM" he yells letting me go, I crumple onto the floor and look to see who is here
"Nishada!?" I whisper, unsure if what I'm seeing is real. A bag is thrown onto the ground in front of the old man that was holding me down, he grips his arm that Nishada had shot.
"There's your money, take it and leave" Nishada growls, his face absent of any warmth, in fact he is scaring me. The two men grab the bag and rush outta the door. Nishada walks towards me, but his face is still scaring me I try to make some distance curling myself into a ball

"Ssshhhhh it's ok, it's me" Nishada whispers holding his hand out as if to entice a deer to him. His face has changed, his eyes are warm, not like before, he seems to be the Nishada that I know is here, but that face from before lingers in my mind. He was like a demon, a beast that had burst through the doors and he shot someone like it was nothing to him. For the first time I see Nishada as dangerous.

Nishada takes off his long grey coat and covers my body with it. Johnny then rushes in and quickly asses the situation.
"DOTTY!" Johnny yells running to me and holding me tight
"You stupid cow, how could you be so reckless" he scolds me as he holds me close, but my eyes won't leave Nishada. He stares at me, he seems a little hurt that I'm afraid of him, he turns away and checks on Pete.

"Kare o byōin ni tsureteiku" Nishada says to some men in suits whom have arrived after Johnny. They carefully lift him and carry him out
"We should take you to the hospital" Johnny says as he stands
"I just want to go home" I whisper, as I gingerly get to my feet
"You go with Pete, tell mom and dad what's going on" I mumble as I pull Nishada coat closer to cover my body
"What are you going to do?" Johnny asks concerned
"I need to talk to Nishada, about the debt" I explained, worried what he might want for the 10k he has just thrown.

"That doesn't matter right now Dotty, right now your in shock you need to see a doctor" Johnny argues forcing me to look at him. He is on the verge of tears with worry.
"He is right Dotty, we can discuss this at a later time, right now you need medical attention" Nishada says walking towards the door.

"I'll be in touch" he says before leaving. Suddenly Johnny picks me up and carries me to the cab. Pete and Nishada men are gone, hopefully to the hospital. I wonder why they split from us, why take Pete when we are going to the same destination.
Lost in thought, before long Johnny pulls up at the hospital and carries me inside.

After been checked up, I refuse to stay, so I go with Johnny to find Pete. Once we find his room Nishada is hovering over him whispering something to him, but stops when he sees Johnny and me at the door.
"Should you not be resting?" Nishada asks, Pete looks upset, makes me wonder what Nishada said to him.
"I'm fine" I snap at him
"In that case...." Nishada goes towards me but Pete suddenly grabs Nishada arm to stop him
"There must be another way" Pete pleads, iv never seen him look so desperate before.
"What's going on?" I ask concerned. No one answered straight away, till Nishada finally spoke
"I have given your brother a job to pay off his debt" Nishada announces

"Doing what exactly?" I asked with a worried feeling.
"Nothing he can't handle" Nishada answers coldly
"Doing what?" I square up to Nishada determined to get a straight answer from him, but deep down trying to keep my body from shaking

Nishada smiles
"Odd jobs, driving mostly" he answers moving closer to me. I feel his breath on my face.
"I'll do it then" I replied
"NO" Pete yells before having a coughing fit
"He has a baby on the way, he can't go to prison or be at you beckoning but I can" I announce
"Prison? What makes you think....." Nishada chuckles but I cut him off
"We are not stupid!" I growl, determined for him to take me seriously. Everyone goes quiet again till Nishada finally speaks again

"As you wish, then drive me home" he orders before leaving the room. Before we can discuss anything Daisy and mom come running through the door, I can see Nishada arm behind the door waiting for me.
"Everything will be fine Pete" I smile at a worried brother as he is embraced by his wife as I leave to escort Nishada home.
