Safe Room

"Dotty, let me explain" Nishada says out of breath.
"I need to go home, Sir" I mumble in a low voice
"Why with the 'sir'? Dotty come back inside..." he stands in front of me stopping me from moving forward.
"Let me explain what you saw, please" he says rubbing my arms, he takes his coat off and wraps Aiden and me with it. He gestures me inside when we can hear a car coming towards us at full speed. Suddenly Nishada pulls out a gun and points it towards the car, I then realise it's a police car so that means it's David.

"I hope you have a permit for that" Dave says in a stern voice as he heads out of the car.
"What can I do for you officer" Nishada answers as he puts the gun away behind his back.
"Iv come to collect my sister" Dave answers, but Nishada stands in front of me still blocking my path
"It is not safe for her to leave, please both of you come inside and we...." before Nishada can finish I see Johnny and Pete come flying out of the cop car.
"Dotty come on we are taking you home" Pete yells as he bounces towards us
"Please I won't hold you son captive but you sister is in grave danger if she leaves" Nishada yells, the rain drips off everyone's brows as a showdown starts to commence.

Pete swings for Nishada
"PETE NO!" I scream, I know his temper can be bad but he has never flown in this kind of rage before. Nishada easily dodges all of Petes punches, which angers Pete more. Johnny comes to me and Aiden
"Let's get you in the car" Johnny whispers as he pushes me past the boys fighting.
"No stop!" Nishada yells and before I can enter the car a loud gun shot fills the air. The window of the car has a hole in it and the whole window is shattered, I feel a hot stinging sensation in my shoulder but it does not hurt.

What hurts the most is my heart as I see blood staining the floor below Johnny as his shoulder, that was blocking mine, now also has a whole in it, it spurts out blood what covers my back.
"GET DOWN NOW" Nishada yells, as he pushes Pete down to the ground. I automatically drop to the floor clutching Aiden to my chest, Johnny drops onto his back as Dave runs up behind him and catches him as he falls.
"Shit dude" Dave gasps as he places pressure on Johnny's shoulder.

Suddenly a burst of bullets litter the ground around Pete and Nishada, they scramble to the trees to take cover.
"What the fuck is going on!" Pete yells as he catches his breath and scopes the trees behind us for out attacker or attackers. The car is ruined with bullet holes, so we have no way to escape. I feel a panic attack coming on when Nishada phone buzzes, as he answers he starts speaking fast in Japanese. Within ministers a gang of men in black suits swarm the trees, some come to our aid, they help Johnny onto his feet and they aid us back to the house where one man stands holding Nishada Neice.

"Take our guests to the safe room" Nishada orders as he takes a gun of one of the men in a suit and loads it.
"I'm calling for back up" Dave yells as he pulls his walkie talkie out and calls in a code. Nishada comes walking briskly towards me and holds my face in his hands
"Are you ok? Are you hurt" he asks with a panic voice, he notices the blood on my arm
"It's just a scratch" I whisper

Nishada kisses my head
"I'm so sorry, but I will explain everything once I know your safe, go with my men, they will guard you and your family" he says resting his forehead on mine. Pete stands behind me and guides me away from Nishada, Pete, Johnny, Aiden and I follow Nishada men to their 'safe room'. Inside there are no windows, and only one big heavy door. The walls are filled with artefacts that Iv never seen before, it's like a museum. Pete takes Aiden off me and begins to calm him down, I head over to Johnny to help him sit onto a chair.

"We just need to stop the bleeding, the bullet went right through so it should be fine" Johnny pants as he hands me two tubes from a first aid kit from his army bag
"Why did you bring that thing?" I ask
"You never know" he sniggers as I help him undress his upper body. I inspect the wound and clean it up the best I can
"Your right, straight through" i hiss as he moans in pain to my touch.
"Take one of those tubes and pull the nozzle off the end, jam it into the hold and push on the plunger at the same time slowly pull it out" Johnny instructs.

Nodding in response, I'm nervous but Johnny as trained me in first aid many times and he always says the best thing is to be confident, so that's what I'll be. Following his instruction to the T, I take in a deep breath
"1.......2......" I count as I bite the nozzle off, and ram the tube into his wound. He screams in pain at the same time we hear a load of gun shots from outside the room. I concentrate on my task and push on the plunger and slowly pull the tube out filling the wound with antiseptic moose.
"Right, now do the back" Johnny pants, colour fades from his face and sweat and rain water runs down his face.

I repeat the process, on his back, then as the procedure is complete he sits back concentrating on his breathing.
"Will you be ok Johnny?" I ask with concern
"Yeah, iv had worse. This will do till I get to a hospital" he pants, as Pete carrying Aiden comes to us. We huddle together as the sound of men shouting and screaming along with gun shot fire fills our ears. I try to block it out by putting my hands over my ears
"They must be really close" Pete deduces
"Yeah, we better prepare for whoever comes through that door" Johnny moans as he gets up. Pete hands Aiden to me as both Johnny and Pete hides me and Aiden be hind them......and the door opens.
