Back in Spectrum City...
In a moment a large crash was heard outside of Arlit St. The Former home of Levi Harris.
His mother, Sarah Harris, ran outside to see what the noise was.
As she slowly approached the crater left in the ground, confusion gripped her heart.
"Its...a canister." I said to myself.
Slowly, I picked up the canister and read it to herself.
In shock, the letter read:
"Dear, Mom
First off, let me start by saying that I'm really sorry I ran away.
You dont have to worry, Im with Thomas, and his dad.
A lot of things have been going on. However, I have some bad news
Angel, he crashed the ship into Death's Row. Destroying most of the
NorthernMost area. He's dead. Strangely, I was curious if he was dead
or not, but when I found out I felt rather apathetic about it.
Good news is that I am still alive, as narcassistic as it sounds.
Ill be home soon, dont worry about me. Dont worry about what I'm doing
You'll thank me when its all over.
Your son,
Levi"
Tears filled my heart to know that my son is okay.
But then how would I know where he is.
Promptly, I went to the nearest precinct.
Calmly I approached the women at the desk.
Placing the letter on the desk I said
"Tell me how I can find the location of the sender of this letter"
"Ma'am, I cant track someone with a letter" She replied
In an instant I pulled out the canister and slammed it on the desk as her eyes widened.
In utter shock she began to type.
"I think I might be able to track the ship, it seems like it came from a Traveler Ship, judging from the serial number at the bottom" The women explained.
"I can have a Voyager Craft ready for you to take you to the location of the sender"
Satisfied, I sat down and waited for the Voyager to arrive.
When the ship arrived, I was amazed. The ship was large and black with multiple rocket propellers at the back.
It was the size of three elephants stacked on eachother. Slowly, the door opened. Standing there were two men, they were well- dressed, and well-groomed. They wore white suits and neutral faces.
"Come in, Mrs.Harris, We've been expecting you..."
Calmly, I walked into the ship and said.
"Take me to my son..." The planet had a large exo-skeleton. In the distance they appeared like, long, vast steel rings that surrounded the planet. I could see the sight every night when I used to go outside and sit on the roof of my house.
Staring in awe, I could see Earth in the distance, and how much I wanted to see it, "One day" I told myself a countless amount of times.
But now I'm having second-thoughts, trillions of second-thoughts. A problem presented itself, how would we get in
undetected. We had no idea what those rings were, let alone if they had the ability to attack us with automatic weapons.
Another problem presented itself. Ostensibly, we choose a ship with enough fuel to get us back. However, we were wrong. Our ship was running out of fuel and there was nothing we could do.
Thomas and I ransacked the entire ship to see if we could manage to find any spare fuel. Lucky for us, we managed to find 40 gallons of it in a storage closet near the entrance.
"Alright, Who is going to go out there?" I asked
They both looked at me attentively. I already knew what they meant.
Quickly, I ran to get my suit, so I could get this over with. The ship had railings laid out across the perimeter of the hull.
As soon as they let me out I slowly pulled myself along the side of the Traveler.
"I cant find where to dump the fuel!" I said over the communication Mic, in my helmet.
Suddenly, I heard Joshua's voice respond.
"I have the schematics of the ship in hand, its on the other side your gonna have to climb over there."
Reluctantly, I began to climb. Ever so Abruptly, my hand slipped causing me to panick. I screamed an ear-piercing scream holding on for my life with only one hand. In a breath, I found myself letting go and memories starting to flow back into my mind.
But, like God himself, I suddenly felt someone grabbing my wrist. Curiously, I looked up to see that it was Joshua.
"Come on, lets get you inside." He said
I quickly pulled myself inside and shut the door, shamefully.
"This job was meant to be done on the ground, if I weren't the coward I am I'd go out there again" Joshua said.
"Let me go!" Thomas petitioned.
Joshua, sternly returned a "No" to Thomas.
A great consternation filled our minds,
We had to crashland...
Our speed increased as the fuel meter got lower and lower a hundredth of an inch per second. Earth seemed to get larger and larger as we got closer and closer. In the blink of an eye, we crashed through one of the steel rings.
Luckily, I got a trillionth of a second peek into what was inside. As we passed through I could see that it was a large corridor. And there were large box-like rooms above the north and south poles. Our speed only rose, and our fuel meter kept getting lower. The crash made us spiral out of control.
"WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF FUEL!" Thomas said
"WE CAN MAKE IT, JUST A LITTLE MORE" Joshua said
The walls spun around us, up became down, and down became up and repeat.
"I can't fuckin' see! I can't fuckin' see!" I shouted, in bone chilling fear.
"WE CAN MAKE IT, JUST TRUST ME!" Joshua reassured once more.
Suddenly, the spinning stopped, he had managed to regain control of the ship, still our speed only increased, and the fuel meter was less then a half-an-inch away from the "E". We were barely in the MesoSphere and we were almost empty.
As we pushed through the atmosphere, the temperature rose,sky-rocketing. All of us began to perspire bullets.
Like a smack to the face, that fateful moment came. We had exhausted our fuel. The ship was falling through the Stratosphere at an incredible speed and still the temperature continuted to rise. In the blink of an eye, we found ourselves
crashing and dragging the ship across the sandy floor until friction took over, causing us to come to a shaky complete stop.
