"I'M NOT GONNA DIE THIS FUCKED UP WAY" I screamed. It seemed as though no one heard that. Desperately, I began to crawl as fast as I could to the emergency exit at the back of the bus. In an instant he pulled the triggerIn the nick of time I kicked the door open and crawled. The bus exploded behind me. I was already a few feet away but I could still feel the heat of that moment. "You could hear it all the way from the otherside of the city!" Said Jeffrey.

"Well I heard that He just stood there helpless only a few feet away from his house",Kelly said. "From what I heard the man was 9 feet tall" I said. "No, but He was big." Interupted Angel. "Very big...his legs were that of pillars, arms as strong as that of a beast, his stature was as large as hell". "What-the hell!" I interupted. "He had a black suit" Angel Continued. "I couldn't help but panic as I saw his large hands, violently grasped at her hair". "Who's hair?!" I said. Angel choked up on his words...

"My...My Mother."Angel said.

Suddenly, silence filled the the cafeteria we were in.

He began to speak again.

"I remember how I used to brush her hair, we'd lay down and tell each other jokes until we went to sleep" Angel begain to tear up. "I could see the strands fall to the floor". Soon, We all looked at him with horror painted on our faces "He threw her into the side of his car."

"ANGEL, NO! RUN!!, she screamed while reaching out towards me but it was too late". "He kicked me in the stomach and he told me to never try that again or he'd kill me and my mother, then he said he'd kill her first . All of a sudden, he grabs her by the neck, and I just stand there helpless then I scream "NO!! NO!.and The man growled, he...he... killed her.." "He what?!" Said Jeffrey, "How?!" I forced. Still, His words faltered as they came out

"...Snapped her neck..." Angel said "You could hear the crack, from the farthest ends of the universe,The man looked down, then at me and he said "Your gonna live with this forever, little boy, with a devilish smile on his face. Then he picked her up and threw her to the side.I dont know what happened I just blacked out for who knows how long, when I finally woke up I saw the man dead, with his heart in his hand, face up".

"I screamed, I..I didnt know what to do I dont know if I killed him or.."

I ,in that moment, slumped uncomfortably in his chair

"You probably did" I said, "Stop! Let him speak" Kelly said.

Angel, got up without a word. I grabbed his arm. "What?" He said."Im coming to your trial" I said.

"....". He didnt even bother to answer.

That day I wouldnt call it the best. However, I went home that day and I couldnt stop thinking about it, It intoxicated every aspect of my mind like a cancer. I rushed home and quickly tried to locate my mom. "MOM!, I'm home!" Soon, I heard her voice from the living room. "Hey, whats up how was school?" "Oh, it was okay."

"Anything new?" She asked enthusiastically

"Nothing that you dont already know". I quickly followed with

"Hey, mom, can I go to Angels trial?"

"Sure, do you need me to take you?"

No I'll go by myself." I said

I was already out of the door. In the blink of an eye Life was hard at times and I know I havent been talking or exactly been a 'friend' to Angel but for some strange reason I wanted to be there. I find myself walking down the street, And the court house stood taller then any of the other buildings. It shown when the sun struck it. The walls seemed to be made of marble and the double doors at the front, maple. The stairs were large and white, and piled high leading into the door way which had two pillars supporting the building. The moment I walked in, you could hear a pin drop, in that room. Everyone stared at the 13 year old teenager, in a black hood standing at the back of the room. Although, I have never seen a court house in my entire life until now, for some reason it felt like a familiar place. A startling feeling rushed through my body as I made my way to a seat near the jury. Meanwhile, I had a perfect view of Angel, and that women standing beside him. "Is that his mom? I thought she was dead" I thought to myself. Soon, the trial began.
