"Lilli, keep your eyes on the road!" I yell out as Lilli drives carelessly down the empty, unfamiliar road in the dark, the vibrant moon acting as our only guide.

"I'm trying! Stop yelling at me!" Lilli yells back in a panic, nervously eyeing her wing mirror and ignoring my clear instructions.

"I don't mean to yell baby, but you can't keep turning your head away from the road ahead of you," I try to instruct calmly but my hand stays on the dashboard of the Jeep in order to remain stable as the car bounces dangerously along the road.

Thank fuck there is nobody else on the road.

"I'm fucking trying my best Niall but it's not my fault that I can't drive!" She yells back in frustration, losing her temper due to the overwhelming situation.

"Really? Then whose fucking fault is it?" I snap back, unable to hold my tongue any longer.
Lilli immediately turns her head to me, her lips pouted and her eyes narrowed in a glaring expression that informs me that she is clearly pissed off.

"Lilli, you're extremely intelligent! You should be able to fucking drive! It's not that difficult," I rant angrily, my fear and frustration causing me to act out of order.

"Are you fucking questioning my intelligence now?"

"No, Lilli-"

"Because don't you fucking dare! You certainly didn't leave school with exemplary grades!" Lilli argues back, her tongue as fierce as mine and as she grips onto the driving wheel I notice how her knuckles are gradually turning an extreme shade of white.

"At least I can understand Oilibhia's maths homework!" I snap back, causing her to gasp in shock and the car begins to drive at an even faster pace down the road.

We sit in a tense silence for a few minutes, any time I look over at her she huffs at me, so the only sound is the painful squeak of the tires or the crunch of the road gravel beneath us.

Lilli attempts to turn the wheel but the car sways off in a different direction, forcing me to jump forward and immediately place my hands on the car wheel to steer it.

"This driving is just shocking-"

"Talk about my driving one more time Niall!"

"Your driving is fucking terrible!"

Lilli gasps dramatically and sharply elbows me out of the way, grasping onto the car wheel again.

"That's it! I have fucking had it with you and your shitty comments! You are such a fucking know it all, it's so infuriating!"

I raise my eyebrows and immediately shake my head in dismissal.

"Apologies, if I am a 'know it all' on a topic that I know about because if I'm not mistaken, the last time I checked, I was the only one out of us who could actually drive!" I argue back, grabbing the wheel back again and in the process the car swiftly sways across the road and then back into the correct lane.

"Yeah well the last time I checked, you weren't able to drive tonight because you of course had to have a drink!"

"What's that supposed to mean?" I ask defensively, my voice deeper and rougher than usual and I notice how Lilli's eyes slightly widen.

"It means that you are fucking irresponsible!"

I laugh out loud at that statement, only causing Lilli to continue her vicious rant.
