It was the next day and we were fully rested from the day before, we decided to put on a movie and just cuddle on the sofa (couch). The time was around 6 and we had watched movies the whole day, I was leaning on cate as she had her arm wrapped around my waist and her other playing with my hair making me sleepy. Before I fully fell asleep I decided to do the dishes, if my lazy ass left it for another day they would be in the living room.
"I have to do the dishes" I spoke gently as I slowly sat up meeting our eyes.
"Noooo. Just a few more cuddles?"
She looked so cute
"Cate, they're piling up over there"
She giggled and then gave a nod of approval before leaning forward to connect our lips. I gave her multiple kisses while standing up, I didn't want to stop, there was something about cate, she pulled me in.
Finally standing up I made my way to the dishes and grunted at the sight. It was full. Pouring the soap all over them I practically used half the bottle, then I began scrubbing. I felt a pair of arms snake around my waist
"Hmmm"
"Cate" I giggled softly
She moved my hair from my neck and began placing soft kisses slowly up and down my neck
"Hmmm"
One of her arms hooked around the side of my stomach and span me around so I was now leaning on the counter.
"Cate not now"
"Mmmhmm" she completely ignored me
"Cate I'm tired" I groaned
She raised her head so she was now towering over me, both arms around me resting on the counter.
She gave me a smile
"You're so perfect you know?"
I couldn't help my cheeks as they flushed pink and i bowed my head smiling in embarrassment.
"Sweetheart" she whispered as she hooked a finger under my chin pulling my head up once more to meet her eyes
"You are perfect"
My face went straight and I just appreciated this moment and I could tell she really meant it.
"I'm hardly perfect Cate. There are parts of me you are yet to know"
"Mhmm more parts to adore"
I smiled once more and pulled her in for a kiss before lowering my head to rest on her chest. Her arms tightly wrapped around me as I did the same and we started swaying, to our own music.
"Let's go to bed sweetheart"

I came in the room and cate was already under the duvet, she lifted up a corner and patted a spot next to her motioning me to lay down, and I did. She brushed a hair away from my face and my eyes lightly shut in content, I let out soft noises in appreciation as her hand wandered to my cheek and rubbed the corner of my mouth with her thumb. I opened my eyes to find her just gazing at me, smiling. I couldn't help but return the gesture as she gave me loads of rapid kisses, my mouth, my nose, my cheeks, my forehead and then gave me a passionate kiss once more. I turned around ready to sleep, she pulled me close by the waist so we fit like a puzzle, her face nuzzled into my neck
"I love you"
"And I love you miss Blanchett"
