It was the next day and Andrew was going to be back any second so we decided to get a move on. We packed our bags and got the car ready as Cate said goodbye to the kids, giving them one hug each, you always get told that a mother's love for her child is above all else, you never really understand that until you see it, the way Cates smile instantly grew whenever they smiled, the way they looked at each other, you could not begin to process the amount of love they had for each other, well you knew that you loved Cate as much as you possibly could but the way she loves her kids will always be something else.

She saw me staring from the car and smiled at me, I've never seen someone so happy. She made her way to the car leaving the kids with the nanny until Andrew came back, we knew he'd understand but we weren't ready to face it yet. I started the car as she stared, just stared. Not weirdly, she was admiring me. And I knew that.

TIMES SKIP

We pulled up to my apartment and chucked our things on the floor, I was exhausted so my instinct was to flop on the couch. I heard clutter behind me before I was picked up and was now straddling Cate, she began kissing me and moved down to my neck making it more heated, her kisses became hungrier and hungrier, I hated to admit it but I was to tired. She pulled away and looked at my shut eyes, the prominent bags under them only slightly showed how tired I was
"Oh baby, you look shattered"
I could only mumble in response and plop my head in the crook of her neck, her scent filing my nose only made me more tired, one of her hands stroking my back and the other playing with my hair I couldn't stop myself but I feel alseep right then and there. She must of carried me to bed because when I woke she was lying under me, her arms still wrapped tightly around me even though she was fast asleep.
"How many times have I told you it's rude to stare"
"I can't help it Cate."
She sat up so I was once again straddling her, and once again she kissed me
"Ugh I want you so bad sweetheart"
"Okay if you brush your teeth"
She made a fake shocked face
"I'm sorry did I damage your ego?"
"Oh your being so bad"
"Really? And just what are you going to do about it Cate?"
"Oh y/n, you have no idea"
She chucked me of her and made her way to the bathroom not once taking her eyes of me, although my eyes were also wandering her tall bare legs and the outline of her bra showing through the thin top she was wearing,
"No idea"

I'm sorry for leaving you like this 💀🤚🏼 and I sorry for not updating stuff happened we move on. I hope your all well if you need someone I'm here. How are we all?
