A part of Jieun didn't want to enjoy the kiss. She wanted to hate it so at the end when she finally had to betray the male, it would be easier.
But as she felt her body melt into it, gently tugging a fistful of Renjun's hair, she knew that they were meant to be, and nothing could change that.
Renjun broke apart first, slowly gasping for air as he licked his lips. "Wow."
"Yeah." Jieun replied, unable to hide her happiness. "Wow."
Renjun let out a soft laugh, leaning forward to place another kiss on Jieun's lips, a soft one. He didn't get too far though, pulling Jieun into a hug afterwards.
"It's getting late, I should probably take you home." Renjun said, gently running his fingers through her hair.
"Already?" Jieun asked, her question almost coming out as a whine.
Renjun giggled as he moved back, pressing a kiss to Jieun's forehead. "I know, I don't want to separate from you either. But we can always continue this tomorrow."
That's when Jieun remembered everything else and instantly regretted kissing Renjun, and was not exactly feeling thrilled at how close they were getting.
"Only if that's alright with you. If you hate me and never want to see me again, I get it." Renjun said, looking away.
Renjun being unhappy hurt Jieun more than her own thoughts so she instantly reached forward, turning his head so he was looking at her again.
"No, I would love to spend more time with you. I just don't want to be a nuisance, that's all." Jieun told him.
She felt relieved when Renjun's smile reappeared and let out a small yelp as he began to tickle her.
"Silly, you'll never be a nuisance. I'll pick you up tomorrow and you can spend the day with me."
"Alright." Jieun said as she wrapped her arms around Renjun, the two of them sharing a hug.
As she rested her head on Renjun's shoulder though, the guilt came rushing back to her.
...
"I need your help."
Renjun watched as Jeno narrowed his eyes, widening the door for Renjun to step in. "Well hello to you too."
Jeno and Soojung's apartment was clean and organized, and Renjun was 100% sure it was because of Soojung. Jeno wasn't a messy person but he sure wasn't organized either, being the perfect example of a typical male college student.
Renjun had dropped Jieun home but wasn't exactly ready to return to his. He knew that Jeno and Soojung were night owls too, soon finding himself at their place.
"Hi Renjun." Soojung called out from the kitchen. "Tea?"
"Yes please." Renjun replied, giving Jeno's girlfriend a small smile before the two men settled on the couch.
Jeno gave him one look and it was obvious to Renjun that Jeno knew why he was there. "You fell in love."
"Now let's not make assumptions." Renjun said but Jeno was not convinced.
"You've been avoiding us for a while and considering the fact you're not confirming nor denying it means that I'm right." Jeno pointed out.
Since when did he get that smart? Renjun thought as Soojung approached them, a teapot in one hand.
"I'll be back with the cups." Soojung said as she placed the teapot down. She then shot Jeno a look. "And stop being mean and just tell him the truth."
