I saw your smile on someone's else face last night
I briefly remembered when you used to say we wouldn't last at first sight
I was too blissful to ignore your flaws for a while
You hid them so well with every smile
I was too eager to look for a second kiss
Even though our connection always seemed to be a miss
I remembered all the wrongs you tried to hide
I was too busy to look deeper past your bright side
It seemed you were always right
My foolish heart served me far too light
