Smelling Flowers

It snowed yellow carnations

The first hours you left that winter

I now can hear birds cheering early in the morning again

It rained smiles

The first month your scent disappeared in the spring

The clouds above my head made way to bluer skies

It stormed applause

When I decided to cut the last ties to you last summer

Life now makes sense again

Since you've been a blur

My garden is blooming again

I am flying in a higher sky and smelling flowers

Since you've been gone for good
