"Bub, I really have to go now!" Dixie was trying to pry away from Noah who refused to let go of her waist. "No! Just sleep here tonight!" Dixie giggled at how cute he was, but she knew she couldn't give in this time.

"I have to go back to my dorm at some point to unpack properly, besides Blake is probably tired of listening to us." They turned to Blake who was lying on his bed reading something on his phone. He didn't look away, just nodded and continued staring at his phone.

Noah rolled his eyes and groaned at Blake. He turned back to Dixie and pouted, "I'll miss you!" She gave him a gentle kiss, "I'll miss you too, but I'll see you tomorrow!" She hopped off the bed and began putting on her shoes.

"I can't believe it's only been six months since we started dating!" "I know! It feels like I've loved you forever!" Dixie blushed at his words and gave him one final kiss. He waved goodbye as she walked out the door, "Can't wait for our date!"

Dixie gleefully skipped back to her dorm and came flying through the door. "I'm back!" "Hey girly!" Dixie's roommate, Kate, was finishing up some paperwork at her desk before school started tomorrow, "How was your time?"

Dixie began unpacking one of her boxes, "Amazing as always!" She had only been at Berkeley for a few days and had spent almost all of her time with Noah so she had barely had time to unpack her things.

She spent the rest of the afternoon setting up all of her decor in her room, including her new picture frames which she displayed on her bedside table and desk. She sat Claire on her bed and hung up Noah's jersey on a hook on the wall.

When she had finally finished, and her room felt like a cozy home, she got ready for bed since Kate was already asleep. She spent longer than usual because she was distracted thinking about the next day.

It was the first day of the second semester, her first day, and she didn't have any classes with Noah or Kate. But she wasn't too worried, she was very social and great at making friends, so she was more excited than anything.

--------------------

"Welcome, all! Now, before we get started there are some things you should know..." Dixie was sitting in her first class of the day, introduction to psychology. She wanted to be a social worker so this was an important class for her to take.

She was taking notes when a boy sitting next to her asked for a pencil. She handed him one and told him he could keep it. "Thanks! I'm Nick by the way!"

She smiled brightly, "I'm Dixie! Nice to meet you!" "And you! I've never seen you around, are you new?' "Yeah, I just transferred here from Los Angeles." His smile was very friendly and Dixie was glad to say she was already starting to make friends.

"Cool! If you want, me and some friends are going out tonight. You're welcome to come if you'd like!" Dixie thanked him but told him she already had plans, "I'd love to hang out some other time though!"

"Oh of course! No worries! Have fun tonight!" Dixie went to respond but was cut off by the teacher. "Mr. Austin! Can you share one thing you already know about psychology!"

Nick (Austin, as she just learned) answered well, and Dixie giggled when the teacher moved on. "We should probably stop talking." She laughed again at his comment and went back to quietly taking her notes, this time with a smile lingering on her face.

--------------------

Knock knock. Dixie opened the door and gave her boyfriend a tight hug, "Hi baby!" "Happy six months!" She grabbed her purse and grabbed Noah's hand as he walked her to his car.

Noah opened the door for Dixie and then got in the driver's seat and started the car. He asked about her day and placed his hand on her thigh. "It was great! I like my professors and it's not too different from back home. Oh, and I made some friends! " "That's awesome babe!"

"I know!" She squealed, "I was only able to talk to people a little bit between breaks and stuff, I met one of Kate's friends, and this one guy named Nick!"

"Hmm, I don't think I've ever heard of him. What's his last name?" "Austin, I think." Noah thought for a moment and came to the conclusion that they had never met. "I hope I can meet him and all your friends soon!"

Dixie teased him, "Eh I'm not sure if I want them to meet you, you'll probably embarrass me." She stared at him in a fake condescending manner, "You're kinda weird."

Noah removed his hand from her thigh and lightly flicked her nose, "Yeah well you're really weird." She giggled, a sound that still filled Noah's heart with joy and a feeling of completeness.

They arrived at a fancy restaurant and got a table inside. One thing they were both looking forward to now that they were no longer long-distance was the opportunity to go on more dates.

Because their relationship was a secret, and then long-distance, they never really got the chance to just date. Their relationship has been so unique that they were so thankful they were finally able to do 'normal' couple things.

They finished their lovely dinner date and headed home. It was a great date, they kissed, laughed, talked about how their first days went. The conversation never died down, they spent so much time together that it would be assumed they'd run out of things to talk about it.

But they never did, as they grew every day they'd talk about it. They learned everything about each other and continued to learn more each day. And, they enjoyed each other's company so they were able to sit in absolute silence if they wanted to.

Noah walked Dixie to her dorm room door and they stopped in front of it. He grabbed her hands and leaned against the door, "So, it's been six months. Are you tired of me yet?"

Dixie giggled, "Yes, you act like a baby every day and it's a lot of work. It's very tiring." Noah smirked and intertwined their fingers as he pulled her a little closer to him, "Well I have another way to tire you out too."

Dixie blushed but then glanced at her door. She pecked Noah on the cheek and smiled sweetly, "Not tonight. Kate's in there and I really need to get some sleep."

Noah just stared at her with his mouth open. Dixie giggled a bit, "Sorry baby! See you tomorrow!" She swiftly opened her door and scurried inside leaving Noah still speechless outside. He turned to stand in front of the door and shook his head. Wow, he laughed to himself.

Just then the door reopened. Dixie grabbed his hand and yanked him inside, "Kate's not here yet." Noah playfully rolled his eyes and let Dixie guide him to her bed.
