(Long chapter ahead!)
Third Person's POV
The pen's point dragged across the plain paper with inked questions. His brows furrowed as his gunmetal blue eyes scanned those questions from left to right. The clock by the wall created a ticking noise. He occassionally tapped the pen's cap on his desk, his thumb between his teeth.
"Akaashi!" He snapped his head towards his seatmate who had this concerned expression on his face. "Relax, exams hasn't even started.." he told with a chilled smile.
Akaashi felt his cheeks burning as he frowned from embarrassment. He heard snickers and giggles of his fellow exam takers behind him. He rolled his eyes before plopping his upper torso on his desk "sorry" he mumbled, ears tinting red.
He faced sideways, the desk squishing his left cheek.
Keiji's POV
Under the table, I couldn't help but keep tugging my fingers. By palms were even starting to sweat. My shoulders felt so heavy and my heart is beating quiet fast. I want to answer the exam already, I want this to be over.
I was so anxious to leave the house knowing that Aito had receive a bruise and no one was in the house other than our new nanny, Koemi-san.
She was so suspicious when she first arrive. She carried this awful vibe around her and now, I left the infant alone with her.
And since I couldn't handle this weariness I carry, I did something before I left the house. I needed to make sure.
Flashback*
It was night and I charged my phone by the nightstand. The phone must be fully charged for the whole day. No, it wasn't for the exams.
It was for a secret camera that I will place somewhere in the living room.
By sunrise, before everyone could get up, I quickly went out of bed. I quietly made my way downstairs and to the living room. By the corner of the room, was a big pot of mom's bonsai tree.
Actually, it was from outside and I placed it inside for my plan to happen. By the roots, I placed the mobile down, it was already recording. I made sure to cover it with leaves and branches, silently praying that Koemi-san won't come down just yet.
In the end, it was a success. I left the house weary and praying that when I return home, Aito won't have another bruise on him.
End of Flashback*
The people around began straightening themselves as the teacher came in. I followed, placing my notes back in my bag and bringing my pen to my desk. "Good morning students. Today, we will be having our entrance exams for 2nd years."
She divided the paper, giving it to the students in front of each row. "No cheating, no talking, and no eating. Students who will be found violating the rules will not be taking the exams!" She announced sternly as I scanned the test paper that was now in my hands.
When class quiet down, our teacher smiled "Good luck.." the moment she said that, everyone started writing down their answers. I soon followed, writing and reading every question.
I may be weary and anxious but I needed to focus on my exams.
~~~~~~~
Finally reviewing my paper for the 5th time, I stood up from my desk, going torwards my teacher. From the corner of my eye, I can see everyone looking at my figure as I kept walking.
The teacher smiled as she took the paper "Impressive Akaashi, you're the first to pass" she stated and placed the paper away. I merely bowed as a sign of gratitude.
