Third Person's POV

He panted, wiping the sweat on his forehead. The score board showed clearly who was the winner. Despite it being so exposed, Bokuto felt so nervous upon knowing who won. A loud whistle blew and the flag went to their side of the court.

The whole gym erupted with cheers and Bokuto couldn't stop a grin forming on his face. “Yeah!” His team exclaimed with pride. Fukurodani's fan chant began to swirl inside the gym as the members approached their bench, resting.

“Good game!” Konoha exclaimed, gulping his water bottle down. Akaashi huffed beside, wiping the sweat around his neck and forehead.

Despite just finishing a game, Bokuto was so invested in watching the match between Karasuno and Inarizaki. The built man seemed to notice why the gym was so pumped up and apparently word got to him that Inarizaki lost to Karasuno. “You didn't notice? Didn't you hear all that ruckus?” Konoha piped in, stepping closer to the captain.

Bokuto frowned, jutting his lips. “Why would I know what's going on outside my match?” He retorted, sounding somewhat offended. The bi-colored man huffed, frown deepening. His eyes followed the figures of the silvernette Miya, whose expression was down casted, his blonde twin smacked his back. “Well, yeah. Guess one of the favorites is out." Konoha spoke in amusement.

“Man, I wanted to play the Miyans....!” Bokuto sounded irritated. Konoha snorted, looking away. From a meter away, is where Akaashi was. He stood there, quiet and motionless. Despite his neutral expression on his face, if you look closely, he was shaking.

Sarukui who was drinking water behind the setter, got worried. Nevertheless, he shook it off. He hoped it won't affect their game play. He left, thinking that the raven head was overthinking once again.

And everything that happened next, was like a blur. Late in the night, Akaashi found himself walking towards the front porch. Touching the cool metal of the glassed door, Akaashi sighed before pushing it open.

Instantly, he shivered from the cold. And he was right. A certain tall, buff person dressed in navy blue sweater and white pants stood a meter away. Akaashi approached the figure, zipping his zipper close.

“Aren't you going to watch TV?” He asked. Bokuto looked over his shoulder, golden orbs meeting Akaashi's gaze. “Oh, we did though.” Bokuto answered, his breath become visible due to humidity.

“I wasn't on camera that much, so watching it 20 times is plenty.” The third year added, gaze once again placed unto the vast sky of the night.

Akaashi stuffed his slender, cold fingers into the pockets of his Fukurodani jacket. “Well, I mean, you usually watch it on repeat a hundred times.” Akaashi told in a small voice, though Bokuto heard it clearly.

Bokuto scrunched his face, looking towards the setter. Frowning, he spoke, “Who the heck do you think I am?” Bokuto asked in a offended tone. Akaashi shrugged it off, looking ahead and Bokuto followed.

It was quiet. Just the sounds of crickets chirping and the fading horns of the cars filled the area. Despite it being so cold and freezing, the stars were out for show, twinkling ever so brightly.

Bokuto's lips twitched upwards and soon, he was smiling. “Man, I really wish I could play with you guys more!” He suddenly announced so proudly.

Never knowing that a certain raven head flinched not from the tone but from the statement. Still he kept a neutral face, even scrunched his face in pure confusion, cocking a brow.
