Sakura's POV

The sound of the car honks, people passing down the pavement, honestly, the whole bustling city was giving me a headache.

Being stuck in a traffic is no easy task. I groaned but I knew I had to keep my patience. Finally, for what seemed like forever waiting and watching the anime sticker on the car in front on mine, the traffic moved.

Quickly pressing the accelerator, I harshly turned the wheel. It was damn risky but anything could do right now. I smirked at the sound of loud scolding car honks behind me but I couldn't careless.

15 minutes later, I stopped in front of the daycare. The front exterior was plain white, the only interesting area on the wall was on the side, a small brown lion painted.

I opened the door, the bell hanging above ringed. There by the reception was my friend, Seiko. "Ah, good afternoon Akaashi-san!" She greeted gleefully. "Good afternoon as well Seiko-san" I replied.

"Picking up Aito-kun?" She asked, leading me to the door I know oh so well. "Why of course, what would be my purpose then?" She chuckled at my answer. "how is he?" I asked, my calm demeanor completely dissipated.

She gave me a warm reassuring look, twisting the knob "he's alright now, the fever gone down." She assured.

We had to stay quiet as we passed by the sleeping children, toddler, and infants. It was currently their time to sleep. The A/c was softly blowing, cooling the room to the right temperature. The large glass windows were also covered with translucent brown colored curtains, just enough light.

There I see, my close friend who is the main caretaker in the daycare "Akaashi!" She whispered excitedly. She was sitting right beside the cradle who the youngest babies can use. Aito was the youngest among the children. "Hina-san" I bowed before approaching her.

I held Aito's cradle, studying my grandson's appearance. "Do you know what caused his sudden fever? He was doing just fine this morning" I asked worriedly. Hina gave me a smile.

"Well, a child could get sudden fevers although it may seem kinda strange. Take an example, he was new to his surroundings it made him feel overwhelmed."

I carefully picked my grandson from the crib. Of course, Aito-kun has been away from his mama for a long time. They haven't seen each other in almost a week. Aito was suddenly overwhelmed where did the person he trusts the most go.

"Thank you Hina-san" I mumbled, bowing deeply before I left.

Somehow, I have gotten used to the silence. Over the week, Keiji returned home late. I knew why and I understand. Volleyball practice takes a lot of time not to mention he was voted as Class rep assistant. I am proud of my son but sometimes, I worry about him.

Aito is also another responsibility Akaashi needed to handle. Although I am here with Aito, the baby kept asking for mommy and now look at where it got him. Because of his longing and overwhelming feeling he felt with the new person he is with, Aito fell in a fever.

I'm not even sure if I want to share it with my son. If Keiji did knew, he would either skip school, end school, or just take Aito with him. I may be supportive of my son but never will I support my son's decision if ever he ends his studies.

And now I'm here. The food on the table is barely warm now. Aito was upstairs, sleeping from the long day he had. Finally, the front door creaked open. "Keiji!" I engulfed my son to a hug, kissing his temples.

"How's school?" I asked. Keijii sat down on the table. Swiftly, I took his bowl and filled it with miso soup. He gave me a soft thanks before he took a sip at the barely hot liquid.
