We all eat in pretty much silence, apart from the chewing and the cutlery scraping across our plates as we all finish dinner. The twins assigned to do the dishes, something they heavily protested against until a firm look from Naomi shut them up. It was funny to watch them grumpily mope and drag their feet towards the kitchen to do the chore. A chore I haven't done in a while since I was always cooking the food when Jett wasn't here. Now I probably won't be made to do anything for at least a week from Dad's guilt of locking me in a room with only a chimney to escape from.

We all clear up, sending a couple of the newest additions of the family to follow behind dad to the sink and dishwasher. The machine which only dad is allowed to touch, which I always thought was weird from even before I could remember. I hang in the living room on my phone, ignoring Fin as he pokes me non-stop in my side to pay attention to him until I am irritated enough to leave to go to my room.

I walk pass the entrance to the kitchen when a shout of my name stops me in my tracks. I hesitantly turn my head towards the double trouble maker grins of the twins (did that rhyme?*shrugs shoulders*) as they gesture for me to come to them. When I am within arms distance they reach for me to lean my back against the counter facing the still dirty dishes, them both having their arms around my shoulders on either side of me.

"Heeey, Remy. Did we ever tell you that you are by far one of our favourite brothers."

Mike says, smirk growing wider with every word. Same going with Nick on my other side.

"We literally just met like three hours ago."

I deadpan, already knowing what is taking place this second. Years of my brothers bribing me has left me with a keen eye to detect a possible one sided deal from miles away. These two are no different apparently. Though my new brothers are new territory, I have no idea what their game plan would be.

"That doesn't matter, anyway, you know how we are walking to school tomorrow?"

I hummed at Mike's question.

"And you also know how you basically have your dad wrapped around your finger, eh?"

"Perhaps."

I reply to Nick's question this time. Over the years, my brothers have bribed me to use my father's affections towards me for their gain. Be it for going to a party, sneaking out, the works. I? I get in return father-son bonding in a form of a movie night with snacks and money added in my bank account. Being the baby of the family and having mental disorders has its perks, I guess?

"So we are offering to move out of your room and annoy Dylan for the night so you can sweet talk your father to give us rides, what do ya say?"

Tempting...but before I can give my answer I got interrupted.

"No fucking way."

All three of us turn our heads to see Dee leaning against the doorway, him glaring at the twins. Speak of the devil. He walks briskly towards us and snatches my arm to pull me towards him, away from the twins. He ignores my 'hey' and sets his hands on my shoulders from behind.

"You are not using my little brother to get what you want, especially if it lands you two in my room."

Nick scoffs, casting a look to his brother like 'can you believe this guy?' before regaining his smirk.

"What's wrong with us, Dill? We can't be that bad, surely."

I can't see but I am pretty sure that Dee has his very distinguishable disgusted/annoyed face on behind me, maybe rolling his dull, blue eyes for added effect.

"I need my own space and I can already tell you are that bad, now me and Rem are getting out of here."

I roll my eyes as he man handles me out of the kitchen. The room arrangements decided already when I was busy sulking in my room and I was apparently stuck with the twins with Dylan somehow keeping his room to himself. Oscar sharing with Ethan and the others all spread around the house before they leave for collage or their homes in the morning. Naomi staying with dad.

We head upstairs again before splitting off to our own respective rooms. I change into my pj's and climb up to my bunk to whip out my phone again to continue watching Brooklyn 99. I get up to where Amy reveals herself as the janitor who bamboozled everyone in one of the Halloween episodes when my door unexpectedly opens, me rushing to hide my phone and ear phones from view. Habits die hard.

Nick, I think, walks through the door whilst dragging in two mattresses with Mike bringing up the rear. They set it down and begin to make their temporary beds. Those two would probably move into one of my eldest brothers' rooms along with Oscar. I continue to watch my show until I am shocked out of my stupor and turn my head to see the twins with their arms resting on the rails, their chins resting on their hands also. Their stupid smiles stretch across their faces again.

"Any thoughts on our deal?"

"Yep."

"Well?"

"Nope."

"Oh! Come on!"

I burst out laughing at Nick's exclamation, smooshing my face into the pillow to muffle the awful sound. But, by god, that was funny to see their faces. I peek out to see them pouting, pretty sure they are trying guilt trip me with their big, wide eyes. Their faces so similar that if I didn't know that they were twins, I would've thought I was drunk.

"Why, Remy? What awful deed did we do to receive such punishment?"

I cover my mouth to smother the snort at the fancy language that Mike sprouted. Only ever hearing that language in old books. I muffle a response to them though they ask me to repeat it without me covering my mouth this time.

"Nothing, but can I walk with you guys instead?"

They exchanged confused looks.

"Why on earth do you want to walk?"

I open my mouth to explain, but my reasoning dies before it could get out.

"Never mind."

I start to turn away but someone grabs my shoulder. I turn to see that Mike has it, both twins looking concerned.

"Hey, you can walk with us."

I beam.

"Really?"

They chuckle making their hazel eyes squint. Nick nods at me.

"Really really. Anyway, I'm knackered. Night, squirt."

He says, ruffling my hair before raking through his own auburn hair. Mike shrugs before copying the action as well, my blonde hair now hanging in my eyes and in the air.

"Night, Bud."

I get under the covers, with a smile on my face. The first time I hosted a sleepover since Middle school. I pull up the covers to my chin so that the monsters won't get me and I also put my phone on charge right beside my head, so it is easily accessible to me when I wake up in the middle of the night. I hear rustling, signalling that the twins are doing their night routines too.

"Night."
