Jinora misses Kai ever so terribly when he is on his mission. after Kai comes back Jinoras world is brightened for a bit. But then danger comes right around the corner. What happens? Who is behind this?

The chapter takes place in the last episode in the wedding. I do not own LOK. I wish.
Jinoras POV
I was sitting at a table picking at the salad in front of me. I was actually thinking about Kai. We were sort of like a thing I suppose. My dad still didn't really trust Kai, but I trusted him with my life. I really missed him when he was on his mission with Opal. We didn't have any time to say hi or anything when he came back because of Kuvira. Now I was sitting at a table at the very edge of the park were the wedding was being held, tucked in the shadows. I was hoping to catch a glimpse of Kai, but I couldn't see him.
I was still deep in thought when two hands slipped in front of my eyes.
"Guess who!" A familiar teasing voice said. Butterflies filled me stomach
"Kai!" I exclaimed. I turned around and practically crashed into his chest. It felt like we stood there an eternity, arms wrapped around each other. Finally I pulled away. Kai looked at me with those sparkling emerald green eyes. He scratched the back of his neck.
"Hi Jin," Kai said at last. I patted the seat next to me. But all of a sudden he picked me up off my chair and placed me on his lap. I giggled.
"Kai! You trouble maker! You know that if my dad catches us like this he will strangle me and you." I told him playfully.
"I know, but if I get to see you, its worth it."
I rolled my eyes and leaned in to his chest.
"I missed you," I whispered against him.
"I know, I missed you to." He said into my ear. "I mean like, how could I not miss you? You are my best friend." I smiled.
We sat like this for a while until we were called to the air temple, we flew back and landed on the other end of the lake. (A/N I don't know if its a lake or a river, ocean or whatever.) We wanted to take a faerie. We were about to step on when a snotty voice said behind us.
"Kai! What are you doing this late at night, and what in the name of the spirits are you doing hanging out with this piece or arrow trash." We turned around to see a blond girl, clearly not an air bender.
"Jinora is not trash Kim, and I am going to the air temple. In other words escorting my girlfriend and my best friend to where I live. Is it also illegal to go home now?" Kai said in a half strict,funny sarcastic voice. This Kim girl was taken aback. And so was I. Girlfriend! YES! Kim left after shooting me a dirty look.
We boarded the faerie and Kai gave me a sheepish look.
"Sooooooo..........About what I said.............. Sooo.............Do......you......want to be me girlfriend?" He said looking at the water.
"Yes!" I exclaimed. Kai wrapped me in a hug, our lips were inches away. And.......
WE KISSED!
We pulled away when we heard squealing above us. We looked up to see Ikki and Opal above us laughing. Both me and Kai blushed really hard.
"So does that make you a thing?"Opal asked as she and Ikki landed on faerie. Kai and I nodded our heads.
"OPAL AND I ARE PLANNING YOUR WEDDING!!!!!" Ikki shouted.
"We know. Ok? Also please don't tell dad. We can tell him our selves." I said glaring at Ikki.
When we came to the air temple Kai took me to the roof.
"Wow....." I was speechless. It was beautiful.
"This is beautiful," I said.
"I can tell you something that's more beautiful." Kai said in a whisper. I looked at him in surprise.
"You," He whispered.
"Aww...... " I said. I kissed him on the cheek. Kai looked like he could fly with that kiss.

Kai told me how he had met Kim before and how she moved to Republic city. He explained that Kim had asked him out and that he had refused. Kai said that she just can't take no for an answer. I was sort of satisfied with that. I decided to let go for now and worry about it later.
Kai and I went to bed. And for that week. All was well. I forgot about Kim. All I could think about was Kai.
