The Tide of Love (Jinora and Kai)

Mission?

Jinora,  four days ago she said she would try. That made me hope. But right now, I can't hope! To busy just oh uh I don't know, PROTECTING JINORA BECAUSE THERE ARE ASSASSINS IN THE ROOM! So yeah. 

"Is that all you got buddy?" I yelled. I threw and air punch at a earth bender. A fire bender approached me from behind and threw a fire ball. I dogged it and it hit a water bender, burning there chest. 

The fire bender had cornered me into a small pool. He raised his hand to shoot electricity at me when something hit him from behind and he tumbled into the water. The water around me started to rise and the fire bender with it. The fire bender was lifted and thrown over the cliff. I looked to see who did that. 

It was............................................................

JINORA!

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT OF BED?" I screamed. 

"Saving you, that what." Jinora muttered and fainted. Kai ran over to her and scooped her up in his arms. Kai put Jinora back in what was left of her bed and checked her temperature, she was burning up! Kai sat down next to Jinora after putting a cold cloth on her neck. He thought about what just happened. 

Did Jinora water bend?

"No, I didn't" 

How did she lift the water like that?

"Air bender trick"

How did Jinora get out of coma?

"I heard you were in trouble." 

That's when Kai realized that Jinora was answering the questions he was asking and he looked down to see her holding a book and reading. 

"JINORA! What are you doing reading?" 

"I didn't want to sleep." 

"I am going to make you," 

"No you won't"

"Yes I will"  

"No you won't"

"Then I am going to leave!" 

And with that, Jinora unclipped her air suit and flew out through the open gap. Kai followed her. 

"What are you doing?" Kai yelled over the howling wind. 

"Following orders that's what." 

"What orders?" Kai yelled again. 

"The ones that Dad gave."

"To go to him if you wake up?" 

"Exactly."

 They landed a short time after in the court yard. They were both showered with kisses and hugs.  Turns out, Kai and Jinora had to leave Republic City because both of them were targets. They had to go to the fire nation to save some village that was being attacked by terrorists. Katara did a bunch of checks on Jinora and said that she was all right. Jinora had gotten out of the come because of pure will.   

Jinora and Kai packed immediately, that were in for four days of flying. They would be on that mission for a while. When they were all packed. Jinora yelled out.

"Pepper, yip yip!" 

And they took off into the sky. 

It was dark when they set out, so, Jinora and Kai set up a bed in the saddle. 

Jinora moved on top of Kai as he wrapped his arms around her. 

They were both asleep in seconds.
