The Tide of Love (Jinora and Kai)

Day off/ Discovery

Well, Jinora and Kai successfully made it to the village that they were supposed to help. 

"This should last you for about 10 months if you don't over eat in 1 day." Jinora was telling  Chief Gengi. sorry, i had no idea what to call the chief. Also, he is not the avatar. 

That's when Kai noticed a suspicious mark on the side of one of the trees. It looked exactly like one of the marks that Amon had! 

"Thank you, we are very grateful for all you help. I would like to introduce you to-" Chief Gengi was saying when Jinora cut him off. 

"Kai! Come here," When Kai came over she pecked him on the cheek pushed him forward. "Chief Gengi, this is Kai, my boyfriend. He helped me bring all the supplies from Republic City." Jinora said happily. Chief Gengi looked surprised. 

"Well, its nice to meet you Kai. But, my son needs training. He is going off to Republic City to be in army. And he needs help. He is about your age." Chief Gengi said. 

He stepped aside, and there stood the one and only, Skoochy! 

"Jinora! I knew that I would see you again! Dad, I met Jinora at the market on that nearby island. Oh, and, I forgot to tell you. The market isn't excepting our money anymore. And its and good thing that Jinora brought us all these supplies!" Skoochy exclaimed. He completely ignored Kai as he strode forward towards Jinora took her hand and raised it to his lips and kissed it. 

Jinora went red and gently took her hand out of Skoochy grip. 

"I - uh - Kai, I need to talk to you," Jinora stuttered. 

Jinora and Kai went behind a tree. 

"We need to get out of here! We can't train Skoochy." Jinora snapped.

"I know, plus these people support Amon!" Kai added. He was a little disgruntled by Jinora's snappish voice. 

"Well great, I'll make an excuse, just be ready to run if needed." Jinora decided. She walked back to Gengi and Skoochy.

"We would love to train you son, but, I got a message from my father earlier today that I was needed to train some airbenders in Republic City. And Kai can't stay because he is busy earning his tattoos."Jinora said sweetly. Her voice and face expressed deep sorrow, Kai was so impressed that an angel like Jinora was able to pull off such a big lie.

"That is such a shame." Gengi sighed. 

"Will you be visiting us again?" Skoochy said hopefully. 

Jinora laughed. 

"I don't know, probably not though. Kai and I have a lot of work to do." Jinora said.  

Jinora and Kai bid there fair wells to the people of the village and took off to Republic City.

"That was exhausting." Jinora sighed. She flopped into Peppers saddle and took out a book she had brought. 

"Jinora, We saw Amons sign. I think, he spent all his time growing up there." Kai mused. 

Lets just say they don't know about the Tarlauq - Unalauq thing. 

"He might have, but there is also a probability that He just stayed there for a couple of years and developed some good buddy's. They are probably  plotting behind Gengi's back." Jinora sighed.

Jinora sat down next to Kai and leaned her head on his shoulder. 

"Do you ever wish, for all our problems to fall away, and to live in a world were you can be happy and peaceful?" Kai asked Jinora. 

"Of course. But I still love my life here, with Pepper, my family, Korra and you." 

Kai blushed when Jinora said "you" 

They sat like that for a while. Watching the clouds.

"I have and idea!" Kai exclaimed. Jinora looked at him. 

"Why don't we take the rest of the day off? We have all our swimming supplies, and I know a nearby lake. We could go for a swim!" 

"That........... Is actually not such a bad idea." Jinora said slowly. 

Pepper landed next to a shimmering lake. Jinora and Kai unloaded there stuff and changed into there swim suits. 

"Its so cold!" Jinora exclaimed as she put a toe into the water. 

"No it isn't!" Kai said. He was already swimming around in the lake. He swam towards Jinora, picked her up bridal style and started running into the water. 

"Don't you -" Jinora was cut off by Kai throwing her into the water. When Jinora resurfaced she found a laughing Kai looking at her. 

"YOU WON'T BE LAUGHING FOR ANY LONGER MISTER!" Jinora yelled and tackled Kai into the water. 

And thus, was a water war started.

A few hours later. 

The sun had already set, Jinora and Kai were currently cuddling in front of the fire with Pepper sleeping behind them, also serving like a very comfy mattress.

"Thanks Kai, I really needed that." Jinora said in content as she rested her head on Kai's chest. 

"Anytime Jin, Anytime."

Sorry for being gone for a while with my authors notes and all. I was really busy. I will hopefully be updating once a week or more. That is basically it, so, have a great day/night.
