The Tide of Love (Jinora and Kai)

Rescue

Sorry for not updating sooner! I will give explanations for that at the end of the chapter. 

Jinora was shaking. Kim had guards come in and torture her. She was bleeding everywhere. Jinora had tried to escape. Kim had caught her in the act, Kim had tortured her all day. Now it was the sunset of the second day. Jinora took a deep breath. 

My current situation isn't so bad, I am just covered in blood, almost dead and awaiting my death  tomorrow. It could be worse. 

Jinora felt tears fall down her face. She couldn't dry them because her hands were tied behind her back. Jinora was about to give in when she heard a bang. 

"JINORA!" Was yelled. 

JINORA!

Someone burst through that door, then, the world went black.

WITH KAI

"WE HAVE JINORA!" Kai yelled in joy. They had rescued her from Kim and she was currently in the healing room with Katara. 

"You can come in, oh, and just Kai." Katara said when she opened the door. Kai ran in and closed the door behind him. and there Jinora was. Sitting in a bed, covered in gashes, pale as paper. But she was alive. 

Kai threw his arms around her and kissed her all over her face. 

"Jinora, you have no idea how much I missed you." Kai whispered. He had tears falling down his face.

"Kai," Was all Jinora could whisper. Kai laid her down and stayed by her bed side for most of the night. Jinora whispered and turned in her sleep, she cried and sweated. But with one hug and kiss Jinora fell back into a restful sleep.

The next day Katara came out of the healing room and said something that broke Kai's heart. 

"Jinora, is in a coma." 

Jinora

All I can see is black.

Around me. 

I can't hear.

I can't see.

Just black.

All of a sudden, I can hear Kai. He is with me. 

I see Kim with a dagger. 

Then I see the air nomads, dead in Republic City. 

I see my family, dead.

I see Kai, dead. 

I can't process.

I can't breath.

I can't see.

I can't hear.

I can't smell.

I can't feel anything but pain.

Pain. 

It was there.

It was unbearable. 

Pain.

Kim.

Death.

Coma. 

The only thing I can hear now is Katara saying Coma and Kai crying.

 Everything else is blurred out. 

"Jinora hold on." 

"Jinora stay with me."

"Jinora don't go."

"Jinora I can't loose you."

"Jinora I love you."

Those words. 

"Kai." I utter.

"I'll try to stay." 

And with that. I fall into a pit of darkness.
