The Tide of Love (Jinora and Kai)

What Have I Done?

Excuse me please, slight Hamilton reference chapter. 

"Nope, but you got pretty close to who," Verrick reached towards his face and ripped the skin off the reveal......

PRESIDENT  RAIKO!

"But, but why?!" Lin exclaimed shocked. 

"All this spirity stuff is crap, I don't want to share my city with the spirits. So, I am going to destroy it and build a new one along with my daughter!" Raiko shouted. 

"Kim!" Lin yelled. 

"Yes! You finally got something right!" Raiko cackled. 

"We need the airbenders, NOW!" Lin shouted into the radio.

4 weeks later

The fight has been exhausting.  Kai has been on the front lines with all the airbenders except for the air siblings because they have been taking care of all the injured. 

With the Kai and Tenzin in the office. 

Kai had become Tenzins helper RIGHT HAND MAN. They had gotten over 600 troops from the fire nation and another 400 from the earth kingdom. But its like Raiko had been stacking troops for 100 years! They just kept coming. 

"Kai, I don't want you on the front lines." Tenzin said. 

"But sir- " 

"You are to deliver food to starving areas in the earth kingdom."

"Sir-"

"I can't have you die son."

"Don't call me son."

"Young man watch you mouth I am your general."

"I am then willing to die for Republic City." 

"I can't have you die son."

"I am not your son."

"Watch your mouth young man,"

"Son, I need you alive my daughter needs you alive!" 

"CALL ME SON ONE MORE TIME!" 

"Go with Jinora,"

"Sir-"

"Thats and order from your commander."

I feel so guilty for putting that in, but, i am not taking it out!

WIth Jinora and Kai on Lefty. 

"Kai-" Jinora started. 

But Kai just turned his back and went to the head of Lefty. 

What in the name of the spirits did I do?! Jinora thought. 

Great. Silent treatment. Well you know what.Two can play this game.  Meelo doesn't need his slug books. He has loads f them and they won't help us out here in the air. 

Kai was staring at the clouds when he felt something hard hit the back of his head. 

"Ouch!" Kai yelped. 

He looked around to see Jinora innocently reading her book.

He turned back to the clouds.

Another hit was delivered. 

Jinora still acted as if nothing happened.

Kai growled and turned back.

Another bonk.

"Ouch!" 

Jinora still reading. 

Kai turned back.

Another book.

"Ouch!" 

Jinora still reading. 

Back to the clouds. 

Another hit.

"Ouch!" 

"Oh that is it!" Kai mumbled as he stomped over to Jinora. 

"What is up with you!" Kai yelled in her face. 

"I could ask you the same question." Jinora said still reading. 

"Why do you keep throwing books at me?" Kai yelled angrily. 

"I have no idea what you are talking about," Jinora said innocently. Jinora looked up at Kai with her big doe eyes and........

"JUST ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION!"

"Why were you giving me the silent treatment????" Jinora questioned looking back down at her book.

" LOOK At ME WHEN I AM TALKING TO YOU!" Kai yelled.

"Answer the question," 

"CAUSE I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE!" Kai yelled in frustration. 

Jinora simply unclipped her wingsuit and got a back with clothes, book, a tent and all the food supplies. 

"Were do you think your going?" Kai snapped.

"Go back to the airbenders. I'll see you soon, sweetheart." Jinora  snapped back.

And with that. She took off toward the village leaving Kai and his thoughts.
