He'd/She'd/They'd been on the team for a few months now. He/she/they was/were a good agent, maybe even as skilled as Natasha. There was something about he/she/them, something that made me feel warm inside. I never thought I would find love after Peggy, so when he/she/they came along, I knew I had to do something. Except I was too late. Because today he/she/they came into my room today asking what impressed Bucky so he/she/they could get ready for a date. He'd beat me to the punch.

I couldn't be mad at y/n, and as hard as I tried, I couldn't be mad at Bucky either. I didn't tell him how I felt about y/n, and he didn't tell me either. After y/n left, I went to the lounge where I was met with Natasha.

"He/she/they told you?" I asked Natasha.

"Yeah, asked me what I thought of her outfit. Are you okay?" She replied.

"Yeah." I lied.

The truth is, I wasn't. I had a whole plan to tell y/n. I was working on a drawing of him/her/them. It was from a photo Natasha took of him/her/them at the park. He/she/they was/were surrounded by trees wearing a flower crown, and the butterflies flew around his/her/their body. I was going to draw that scene and give it to him/her/them, with a letter on the back stating how I felt. It was too late now though.

I hated that I was happy about it. Y/N and Bucky had decided to break things off after three dates, they both agreed there was nothing there. Bucky was totally fine with it, and so was Y/N, but I couldn't help but hate myself for being okay with their breakup. I decided to wait a little while before going back to my plan, and the time had come. It was time to tell him/her/them. I'd already talked to Bucky, and he was fine with it.

"Hey Y/N, can I talk to you?" I asked her after he/she/they finished (y/f/m).

"Shoot." He/She/They replied, setting down the remote and staring at me with those beautiful (e/c) eyes.

"Um, I got something for you. Well, I made it. Nat showed me a photo and I just, here." I practically shoved the drawing in his/her/their face. Great you idiot.

He/She/They raised an eyebrow at me before turning his/her/their attention to the drawing. He/She/They gasped a little and put his/her/their hand up to his/her/their mouth and saw the words "turn me around" written near my signature. He/she/they read the back and I watched his/her/their eyes tear up as he/she/they jumped up from the couch and wrapped me in the best hug I've ever been given.

"I love it, Stevie." He/She/They said.

"Stevie? I could get used to that." I smiled.

"Shut up." Y/N chuckled.

He/She/They then looked up at me and said, "Oh and by the way, I would love to go out with you."

"See you at eight?"

"Eight." He/She/They gave me a kiss on the cheek and walked out of the lounge, but not before he/she/they saw Bucky.

"Oh hey, Buck."

"So he asked you out?"

"Yup."

"Told you my plan would work."

I stopped and stared at them. "Wait, what?"

"Uh oh." Y/N stared at me. "Run, Bucky run!" He/she/they shouted as he/she/they jumped on his back.

Those two were always up to something. I laughed and went to my room to start planning my date with Y/N.
