How did we get here?

I lost my parents in a fire. I was adopted by the Starks.

I lost my adoptive parents, Howard and Maria. I helped my brother run Stark Industries.

I found a second family in the Avengers. Now we're standing on opposite sides of an airport, Tony looking at me as if I've betrayed him.

Because I have.

When it came time to pick sides, I chose to side with Steve. More specifically, Bucky. Not only did I feel that the Sokovia Accords were dumb, but I also didn't like the way the U.N. treated him like a monster. It was hard choosing between my adoptive brother and my boyfriend, but my morals lined up with the latter's side.

---time skip to Siberia because i don't feel like narrating the whole fight---

I stared at the screen in disbelief. I spent all this time believing that the people who took me in ran into a pole and crashed their car. Instead, I watched as my boyfriend bashed my father's head in and choked my mother. Once the video clicked off, Tony went at Steve.

"Did you know?" He asked quietly.

"I didn't know it was him," Steve replied.

"Don't bs me, Rogers. Did. You. Know?"

"Yes."

Tony backed away and I turned to Bucky.

"Did you know?" I asked him, tears in my eyes.

"I'm sorry, y/n." He apologized, eyes cast downwards.

"So that's a yes. You knew  that you killed them and you didn't want to say anything?"

"I didn't think-"

"We've been dating for almost 3 years, Buck. You don't think that's something I should know?"

Bucky stayed silent. I turned around to Steve.

"And you. You've known me longer and you knew the whole time? You haven't told either of us? Why did you think this would be something to keep? Why?"

"I didn't want to hurt you."

"You've hurt me more by keeping this a secret."

"Okay, talking's over." Tony interrupted.

He went for Steve and I followed, being held back by Bucky. I gave him a jolt of electricity (if you know who logan is from aos ily) and knocked his gun out of his hands. 

So here we were. I was fighting the love of my life because he didn't tell me what he did. I can forgive him for the killing, but I can't ignore him realizing he killed them and not telling me. 

Forgive, never forget.

I don't know if I'll be able to do either.
