you leaned your head against the wall as the familiar banging was heard.

"keep it down, pietro!" you yelled at your fellow enhanced.

"i do not know how to control it yet y/n! It is not as easy for me as it was for you!" he argued in between breaths.

"can you two keep it down, i am trying to concentrate!" wanda shouted at the two of you.

you'd been harboring a crush on your best friend since kindergarten. you, wanda, and pietro grew up in sokovia together, went to school together, did everything together. you were even there the night a stark industries missile blew up wanda and pietro's home. the three of you volunteered for strucker's experiments together. pietro was given super speed, wanda telekenisis, and a form of telepathy, and you were given super strength and agility. while wanda and pietro needed time to get used to their powers, you only needed to lift a few things and work in a gymnastics facility to get used to your powers.

---time skip brought to you by wanda smashing wooden blocks with her powers---

the facility was being attacked by the avengers. you wondered why s.h.i.e.l.d. was attacking their own base but stayed behind with wanda and pietro. that is, until the fighting became too much and the three of you decided to do something. pietro grabbed the two of you and ran out of the facility before strucker could even see you were gone. you, wanda, and pietro split up.

you decided to go for the guy with the long hair and a hammer. he caught sight of you and ran up to you, ready to throw a punch. you easily dodged it and grabbed ahold of his hand, flipping him on his back. you then heard someone say something over his earpiece, "we have an enhanced in the field." you smirked at the man.

"well, looks like i've gotta run."

---time skip brought to you by ultron in a deformed iron legion suit---

you, wanda, and pietro had decided to team up with some robot who called himself ultron. wanda and pietro were doing it to get their revenge on stark, you were doing it because you didn't want to leave wanda. the avengers had shown up again and incited another fight. the plan was for you and pietro to take them down while wanda used her powers to show their greatest fears. the blond-haired man tried to fight you again, this time throwing his hammer, which you caught. (you're worthy. yay!)

"thanks for the souvenir bud." you chuckled, running off after pietro and wanda.

when the three of you got outside of the ship yard, pietro constantly asked wanda if she was okay. when she said she wanted to complete the mission, she ran to the man in a jet and used her mind-control to turn him into some big green monster. pietro went off to find ultron while you and wanda stayed behind. just tell her, you thought to yourself.

"so..." you began

"so..." she said.

"i have something to tell you and i'm not sure how you'll take it but-"

wanda cut you off with a quick kiss.

"in case you have forgotten i can read minds now. i feel the same y/n, but what do we do now?"

"right. well our childhoods were taken from us so i have no idea how this dating thing works." you confided.

"well i think we could defeat the avengers and figure it out later."

before you could stop yourself you kissed her again. she smiled and kissed you back sweetly. she pulled away and leaned her forehead against yours.

"or you could do that."

you chuckled. "come on, let's catch up with speedy."

she grabbed your hand and the two of you went to find pietro.

i hope you liked this imagine. i tried writing in all lowercase because i heard it's "aesthetically pleasing." i think i'll do some stories like this but not all of them because the red lines from grammarly are annoying as heck. Masks up, stay safe!
