            Everything was uncomfortable.

Robbie buried his face farther into the King's sweater, breathing in the calming lavender scent and basking in the finally quiet room. His maids had left maybe ten minutes ago, after bothering him all morning. They had been trying to get him out of his nest, probably to eat and begin preparation for his heat. Leaving his nest seemed impossible though, even the mere thought of it made him nervous. What if he started his heat outside of his nest? If he left his nest unattended someone might try to steal it. No, it was safest if he stayed between the plush blankets.

It had gotten worse when his maids had tried to get near him. They didn't smell right to Robbie's sensitive nose, and he didn't want their strange scents in his nest. He may have gotten a little mean then, baring his fangs and growling at them until they were an acceptable distance away. He had never growled at anyone before, and maybe he should have felt bad, but they had backed off. His nest needed to be perfect, and their smells would have just made it worse.

He pushed himself up then, sitting on his knees so that he could survey the area once more. The sheer, purple canopy above the bed helped block out some of the harsh light of the rest of the room but let in enough so that he could still see properly. Mounds of carefully folded blankets were walled up on either side of him, and his stuffed animals from home sat at the headboard, just above his pillows. The King's sweater and handkerchief were spread out on his favorite pillow. The bottom of the bed only had a few of his less favored pillows, acting as an easy way to get in and out of the nest.

Which was silly because he didn't need to get out of his nest, it was unsafe. He began fixing the issue immediately, mitigating some of the blanket on the sides to build up the end. It took him a little while, repeatedly having to stop to make sure that the blankets smelled of him, then refold them, but eventually he was pleased with his work. He sat back then, wincing as another bout of cramps attacked his lower abdomen. It felt like someone was squeezing his organs, and it only seemed to be getting worse each time.

Robbie was only content with his nest for a few minutes. He changed the order of his plushies then, and the next time he felt like something was wrong, he fluffed his pillows. There was something missing and no amount of fiddling seemed to fix it, much to his frustration. He was crying by the third time he was fluffing his pillows, wishing that he knew what the problem was.

A short knock on his bedroom door pulled Robbie away from his focus, and he laid down quickly, to hide himself from whoever was opening the door. It was probably his maids again, trying to get him to take his medicine and eat. He wasn't hungry and he didn't need any pills, there was something wrong with his nest. Surely that was more important.

"Robbie?" The voice was quiet and familiar and had him popping his head up so that he could look at the visitor. The King was pretty as usual, curly hair falling perfectly on his forehead as he peered into the nest, eyes squinting slightly so he could see into the darker area. "Hi, Sweetheart." He said once he spotted Robbie, "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine," He mumbled, ducking back down so that he didn't have to look at the older Omega anymore. He was too pretty.

The King clicked his tongue, "Now I highly doubt that. But that's okay, we can talk about it in a little bit. Your maids said that you were asking for Mr. Perez."

He immediately perked up, wanting more than anything for the Alpha to be here right now. He smelled so nice, and he was really strong, he could protect him really well. Then he realized that that might upset the King, and he immediately felt guilty. "Are you mad?" He asked, afraid to look up.

"No. No darling, I'm not. Can I come closer?" He asked, and Robbie would've liked for him to climb in his nest. He felt so lonely in there.

"Yes," He said, sitting up so that he could push the canopy aside. For some reason, he wanted the King to see his nest, even if he didn't like it very much right now.

"There you are." King Scott smiled, "I'm not mad that you want to see Allen. He's an Alpha that you're close to, so naturally you would crave his presence right now." He held up a bag then, reaching into it and pulling out a shirt. Allen's scent hit him like a ton of bricks. The King was handing him the shirt before he knew it. "He can't be here right now, for obvious reasons, but he wanted me to give these to you."

A few more shirts followed the first one, and Robbie felt like crying again, but out of happiness this time. This is what was missing from his nest, and as he found spots on his bed for each shirt, Robbie felt genuinely content with his nest for the first time in a while.

"Your nest is very pretty." The King cooed, and Robbie blushed.

"You think so?" He asked.

"I know so, sweetheart. It's perfect," King Scott complimented, and he squirmed under the praise. "Can I come into your nest?"

"Please," He breathed, relief filling him as the King carefully climbed over the piles of soft material. Robbie noticed then that he was wearing a soft looking shirt and shorts, rather than his normal suit. Did this mean that he planned on staying? Goddess, he hoped so. The King was so smart and capable, he'd had heats before. He would know how to take care of him. Once he was situated in the nest, bag now in his lap, he spoke again.

"Okay, now we can have a little chat, hm? You never answered me truthfully, how are you feeling?" He leaned forward, placing his hand on Robbie's forehead. He closed his eyes, the King's cool hand feeling wonderful on his warm skin, "You're already beginning to heat up."

"I'm sleepy, and my tummy hurts," He mumbled, leaving out that he was burning up and he kept having mood swings and that there was this itch under his skin that he didn't want to think about.

"I know. This is your first heat too, which is always the scariest. Everything will be okay though; I'll be with you every step of the way." The King pulled a small plastic container out of the bag then, along with a bottle of water. "You'll need to take these, your heat will probably hit tonight, and they'll need time for your system to absorb them."

Inside the container were two pills. "What are these for?" He asked, popping them into his mouth before taking a drink of the water.

"Once is a suppressant to help tame your symptoms, and the other is a contraceptive."

"Oh, are we going to..." Robbie trailed off, unsure of how to finish that sentence without dying embarrassment.

"Not if you don't want to." The King assured, reaching out and taking his hand. "This is your heat, sweetheart. We're not going to do anything you're uncomfortable with, and sex isn't necessary, especially for suppressed heats. So, no sex then. What about kissing?"

"Y-Yeah, that's okay." He nodded, and smiled.

"Good. How about I have a maid bring us some food, you'll need it before your heat hits, and we can talk some more, hm?" The King kissed the back of his hand then, before moving to slip out of the nest.
