"My love," He kept his voice even, controlling his annoyance from marring his tone. He didn't need the bond linking them to know Robbie was nervous, the smell of soured berries emanating from the door was a loud and distracting sign. Still, his mating mark throbbed with his anxiety, barely scabbed over from the five days of healing, "We air in less than half an hour. Can't this wait until later?"
"It has three minutes before I can check it." Robbie called through the door, unyielding.
Scott turned to Allen, who shrugged helplessly. He was dressed already, suit a deep shade of green that Othebian royalty traditionally wore. A healthy nod to the past while the kingdom adjusted to having three rulers, as if the citizens hadn't had enough new ideologies to swallow. It seemed as though he was shaping up to be the most controversial ruler to date, and his reign hadn't even survived its first year yet.
"You know he's being unreasonable, right?" Scott said quietly, low enough that Robbie wouldn't hear.
Allen smiled, taking his hand and pulling him away from the door. "I know, but he's already dressed, we'll just be cutting it a little close."
"You know I hate that."
"Do you want to be the one to drag him out of the bathroom?"
Scott just sighed and took a glance at his watch. Twenty-three minutes until they were supposed to be live.
Another minute passed before the bathroom clicked open, and there Robbie was, in a dress that matched Allen's in color, eyes wide and white stick in hand. He didn't have to say anything for Scott to know the results. "We'll schedule a time to see the royal physician together." Scott took the pregnancy test from his shaking hands, then turned Robbie around to help him wash up. His nails were silver, and it complimented the green of his dress nicely. Scott planted a kiss on his temple and quietly reassured him everything would be alright.

The coronation was lovely. The sky was a cloudless blue, the sun shining in such a way that there was no doubt the goddess was smiling upon them. The thought was silly, even as it crossed Scott's mind, but he kept his expression neutral, knowing the eyes of many were on him.
His throne had been moved outside for this occasion, crown digging into his scalp as the elder gave her speech. Robbie and Allen were on either side of her, standing straight and facing the crowd of citizens. Scott wasn't paying attention to her word's again, brain too preoccupied with scanning the crowd for any signs of unrest. He was farther back this year though, and perhaps he was overdue for an eye exam because he couldn't make out the features of those in the very front, their features blurring into nothingness.
Unease trickled down his spine, though whether that was residual anxiety from his mates or his own worries rearing their heads he didn't know. His guards lined the perimeter of the crowd, dotted along every ten or so feet and the only barrier between them and a mob of citizens. He picked out the back of Angel, Electra, and Samuel's heads among the guards, their presence only marginally calming down his anxiety. They were stood perfectly still, there was no indication that anything was going astray. He needed to reel in his pointless anxiety, because it would do nothing but rub off on his lovers.
Things were different now. During his own coronation only a handful of months ago, he had felt utterly alone in the world, the loss of the only person he felt he could trust had left him reeling, and the hole his father had left felt too big for Scott to fill. Perhaps it was, in some ways, but the rule of the kingdom was always meant for two pairs of shoulders. Now there would be three, and although he and his mates had a lot to learn and grow, he felt that their reign would be a memorable one. Definitely one for the history books, the Omega King and his two queens.
Allen had to lean down to allow the elder to place his crown on his head. Scott had considered having the royal jeweler craft a new one, but the Wilkey family had a plethora of crowns and tiaras and the like, and after much consideration he'd decided this one fit the best. It was another nod to the past, a crown that a very distant aunt had worn as a duke. The alphan design fit Allen well, and the emeralds set into the silver glittered as her knobby fingers rested the crown on his head. As Allen straightened up, he was now one of the ruling queens of Othebia.
The elder was short enough that Robbie had to lean down as well. Now that he was facing the elder Scott got a glimpse of his expression, and he was surprised to find a serene expression. He looked calm, despite the tension in his posture, but anyone who didn't know him as Scott did wouldn't have guessed so. His lips formed a thank you as the elder placed his crown on (his was specially made, the emeralds had been mined from South Othebia just his year), then turned back to the crowd, the vision of grace.
"May Othebia and her citizens accept their new Queens, and may Queen Allen and Queen Robbie live a long and prosperous life by our beloved King's side. May the moons light shine upon our Majesties and help them lead Us into a new era of peace and security."
Allen and Robbie joined him at the thrones, one on either side of him that he had designed for their coronation. The crowd began cheering as they sat, their union now complete.
"Long live the King and Queens! Long Live the King and Queens!"
