Disclaimer: Yes hello. So I am currently reading Romeo and Juliet in my English class so yes there will be a lot of old Shakespearean language in here. Sorry not sorry.
Patty
Oh Elena. What I am ever to do with you? I am sitting on her bed, stroking her soft hair, while she sleeps. That thought came across and I couldn't help but think. What will I do with her? If my band and I leave next Tuesday, what will happen to us? I bite my lower lip in concentration, when Elena finally stirs. She looks up at me with her piercing blue eyes and a single tear falls.
"Oh Elena. What I am ever to do with you?" I speak aloud, while running my hand over her cheek to wipe away the single tear. She just frowns a little and sits up, with her hands folded in her lap.
"Why didn't you tell me that you were leaving?" She murmured. I take a piece of her hair and put it behind her ear.
"I was going to have a long talk with you about it but you beat me to it, love." She shrugs and places her hand on my cheek.
"We can still have that long talk. I still don't understand what is happening." I bring my lips to her forehead and kiss her lightly there.
"Alright then. Get dressed. We are going out to dinner. I will be over in about an hour to get you." With that I lightly kiss her, plump pink lips and exit her house.
Elena
I run my fingers over my lips where Patty just kissed me. I blush at the thought of him and get up and look into my closet. I pull a few dresses out and lay them on my now messed up bed. I stand there contemplating what I should wear tonight. The black dress I wore at Will's funeral and my birthday, or a dark navy blue one that goes up to mid-thigh and is strapless and hugs my body perfectly. I drum my fingers on my thigh in concentration. Deciding that I can not decide, I call Ginny.
"Hello?
"Ginny, Whence art thee?"
"Huh? Oh I'm over at Luke's. Why are you talking funny?" I roll my eyes at the remark she made.
"Nevermind that. I am in need of your assistance."
"With.."
"With helping me pick out a dress, so Patty and I can go out on our date. I summon thee now." And with that I hung up. I pace around my room waiting, until I hear a faint knock.
"You may enter." Ginny walks in , and strolls over to me.
"Why are you talking like that?"
"Because I dreamt of the olden times. Now I am in need of your assistance. Which dress should I wear, that would be fine enough for my suitor?" Ginny rolls her eyes at me and looks over the dresses. She picks up the black one, and hangs it back in my closet.
"That dress has too many bad memories tied to it." She simply states. I nod my agreement with her. I stroll over and pick up the navy blue dress.
"Alright. While I put on the dress, you have the duty of picking out my shoes." I say and exit my room and into the lavatory. I pull the dress over my head and pull it down to where it fits. I fix it so it hugs my body perfectly. I stroll out and pose for Ginny.
"How does it look, my dear?" Ginny snickered at me. I raise my eyebrows at her,
'The way you are posing. Sorry." She says trying to hold back a laugh. I grin and walk over to her and punch her slightly in the arm.
"Are you going to help me get ready or laugh your bum off the whole time?" We both laughed and continued to get me ready, After Ginny and I finally agreed on a pair of shoes, I was ready to go on my date with Patty.
"He's here!" Ginny yells up at me. I dash down the stairs and to the door. I open it up and there stands my Patty. He is wearing a dress shirt with a tie and nice dark jeans and Toms. He looks amazing.
"Wow. You look gorgeous. " he says to me. I blush slightly. I flick away a stray strand of hair.
"You don't look too bad yourself." He beamed at me, winking, He takes a hold of my arm and starts walking outside.
"Let's get going." He says to me as we enter his car.

"Oh wow! Little Bay Restaurant! This was my favorite place to eat when I was growing up! Patty, how did you know?" I say and kiss his cheek lightly. He smirks at me again, and enters the resturant. We get seated by a nice waitress and order our food. Across the table, Patty leans forward and takes my hand. I grasp his hand firmly, looking into his eyes.
"You know, you really look beautiful tonight." I blush as he continues. "But now, we must talk of more of a serious issue." He rubs his thumb over mine but continues to speak. "Elena, next Tuesday, my band and I leave to go to California to get signed, and then we go on tour for a while. Now I know that you don't want me to do this, but I must. And yes it will be a living hell without you there with me, but I need to do this." I sigh and look into his soulful eyes. I can't let him down. His band is his whole life. He's been working towards it his whole life. I can't be the reason he doesn't achieve his goals. The food arrives as I think to myself.
"Patty," I say finally. "I completely understand. I know how much your band means to you and I know how hard you have been working to get were you are at right now. I don't want to be the reason that you don't achieve those goals. And if I truly love you, then I can withstand a few months without you." His eyes start to tear up and silently, one falls down his cheek. I lean across the table, not caring if my dress is obtaining stains from the food. I kiss Patty hard and passionately on the mouth. He gasps in surprise but then his lips mold against mine and we continue our passion but love filled kiss. He finally breaks the kiss, and I sit back down to straighten out my dress. Luckily, there are no stains on it. Across from me, Patty is beaming again and adjusts his hair.
"Let's eat shall we?" He says as we finally end our serious discussion and begin to eat the marvelous food at the Little Bay Restaurant.
