Elena

“Alright here we are.” Patty says as he pulls into the police station. When he turns off the car and I start to get out, he grabs my hand. I look into his blue and green eyes and raise an eyebrow.

“What Patty?”

“I just wanted you to know, that you don’t have to do this. I mean that these guys and what they did to you was awful. You don’t want to see them again.” I stuck out my bottom lip at him and touched his face, gently.

“Patty, I have to do this. The police need to know what went on in that house and what their intentions were.”

“Babe, I have an idea.” I raise my eyebrow at him.

“Why don’t you just tell them? They must’ve told you what their intentions were while uh you know it was happening. You could just tell them everything they told y-“. I stopped him by putting my pale hand up to his face.

“No Patty. I don’t even know what their intentions were. It’s not like they were going to tell me. Look I am done arguing about this. I am going in there and talking to them and that’s final.” I say with a huff as I got up out of Patty’s car and slammed the door. I stormed into the police station without as much as a glance back to Patty.

 Patty

I can’t believe she did this. Getting into a fight with me after everything that happened. I slammed my fist into the steering wheel out of frustration.

“God. After everything I have done for her. I saved her. Got my ass kicked and I still saved her. And yet she is so ungrateful for it. God I wish I haven’t even met her.” I shut myself up. I can’t believe I just said that. No No no. I love Elena. She is my world. My everything. Why did I just say that? Because, you are being too insensitive to help her out. Maybe if you didn’t dwell on how you saved her, and more on that she is alive and that she loves you, then you could be happy. My self-conscious told me. It was right. I need to stop dwelling on the past. I need to focus on the now. So I did any sensible person in love would do, I got out of the car and walked into the police station.

Elena

“Ah Elena. Good to see you again. Are you ready to interrogate?”  Detective Eric said with a smirk. I shook my head at him, making my brown hair fall.

“As ready as I will ever be.” I say grimly. Detective Eric put his hand on my shoulder.

“You will be alright kid. You have the whole police force here with you.” He says with as much pleasantness a police man could give you.

“And you have me here as well.” Detective Eric and I turned my head to who said that. It was Patty. He was standing there with his hands in his pockets. I shake my head at him.

“Patty, I told you all I need was you to drive me.” I said. He walked up to me and put a finger under my chin, angling it so I was looking in his eyes.

“Yeah well considering that I am in love with you and I would give anything for you, I am coming with you to protect you from anything they say. Whether you like it or not.” He takes the finger from my face and smirks at me. Then he grabs my hand and looks to Detective Eric.

“Well. Let’s get going then. Follow me.” We nod and follow Detective Eric into the interrogation room.

“Alright. Patty would you please come with me.” Patty raises an eyebrow at the Detective.

“Why?”

“Well you see we asked Elena to interrogate the rapists. Not you. So you will stand behind the glass with me while a guard stands in there with Elena.” Patty opened his mouth to object, but Detective Eric held up a hand.
