Chapter Eight

Patty

I sat in the waiting room, my hands wrapped and my whole body aching. Jason and Luke sit beside me, they are wrapped up as well. When we finally got here, a nurse took care of us and we told her everything that had happened. The nurse told the doctor, who told the police, who went over to Will's house to get the criminals. The fighting finally caught up with me. My whole body ached. My muscles and everything. But nothing is as sore as my heart right now. They took Elena in the ER and the wait is literally killing me inside. 

"Hey. Ginny just texted me. Should I tell her what happened? What should I do?" Luke asks. I sigh and look to my two best friends in the whole world. 

"Yeah, tell her. But don't tell her to come up to the hospital. I think Elena just needs her rest." I say quietly. Luke nods, then gets up and walks off to call Ginny. I lean back in my chair and close my eyes. Next thing I know, Jason is nudging me.

"Jason, I am trying to rest. You know we just got into a fight and my body is aching. Let me sleep." I say grumpily. I am sorry but I am just not in the mood.

"Patty would you just shut up and get up. The doctor is here." At Jason's last words, I sprang up out of the chair and almost crash into the doctor. He was standing there with a clipboard and he had brown hair, glasses, and was a little taller than me. He raised his eyebrows at me.

"Are you here for Elena Lightshade?" He asks. I nod my head vigorously.

"Ah well good. I have some news for you. I am her doctor by the way. Name is Alec Aspenhallow." He stuck his hand out at me. I took it and shook it.

"NIce to meet you Dr.Aspenhallow. What is the news of Elena?" I quickly get out. Sweat is dripping on my forehead and making my hair slick.

"Ah yes Elena. She will be fine. The knife that was in her arm, left a pretty nasty scar but we have it wrapped it up and she will be ready to go home tomorrow. But there is some bad news." 

"What's the bad news?" I say. I feel a big lump in my throat.

"Well you see, she will be physically okay. But mentally, I am not so sure. You see, those two guys raped her. So mentally, she is most likely scarred for life."  In that moment I swear I stop breathing. They raped her? Gang banged her? I wanted to go back to Will's house, and beat the absolute shit out of them. I clench my fists at my sides and look at Dr.Aspenhallow. 

"Can I go see her?" I ask through clenched teeth. Dr.Aspenhallow gives me a sympathetic look and nods. I start to take off to her room, when Dr.Aspenhallow grabs my arm. I turn to look at him.

"I am sorry about your situation. But, I wouldn't mention anything to her if I were you." I nod to him and take off to her room, leaving Jason far behind.

Elena

I lay in the hospital bed, looking up at the ceiling. The nurse just told me what happened. I was kidnapped by two guys. They gang banged me. Patty, Jason, and Luke came to save me. There was a big fight. I got stabbed. I passed out from blood loss. The guys brought me to the hospital. They took care of me. I am going to be okay physically. But not mentally. I am so scared. A tear falls down my cheek. The hospital door opens, and in comes Patty and Dr.Aspenhallow. My heart lifts. He instantly smiles, and runs over to the side of the bed and holds my  hand. He leans down to my hand and kisses it. I shiver. The last time I got kissed, it was Jem and Sebastian. No I will not think about that. I shake those thoughts out of my mind. Instead, I look to Patty. His blonde hair is messed up, his clothes dirty, his eyes red as if he hasn't slept in a long time.I put my hand on his face and look into his green eyes.
