Chapter Seventeen

Elena

Oh shit. After the doctor's office called me, I decided to call Ginny. After four rings she answers.

"Hey Elena what's up? I was sleeping I hope you know."

"Yeah well get dressed. We gotta go to the doctors today. She called me and said it is urgent."

"Oh shit Elena. Okay well I will get ready and meet you there."

"Kay see ya in a little bit." I ended our call and checked the time. 10:30 a.m. I only have an hour left of work. Maybe Corbin (my boss) will let me get out early. I walk back to the general managers office to find Corbin sitting at his desk typing away.

"Hi Corbin."  He looks up at me, eyebrows furrowed. He's pretty good looking for 28. He has nice long blonde hair like Alex Pettyfer. He also has deep blue eyes that can set you in a trance for hours.

"Oh hi Elena. What do you need?" He asks in a smooth tone.

"Oh," I say nervously, looking down at my hands, " I was wondering if I could leave work early. I kind of need to go to an erm..appointment. " Corbin cocks his head at me in bewilderment.

"Uh well I actually needed you to go run a delivery real quick. But how important is this appointment?"
Shit. I bite my lip nervously. "Well you see I sorta.. have to go to a doctor to see if I'm uh.." I got cut off by Corbin raising his hand.

"Its okay I see what you are saying. Go ahead and go I can have Robb deliver. You go to your appointment and good luck." He says with a grand smile, showing his pearly white teeth. I smile back at him.

"Thank you Corbin! I will be here tomorrow. See you then." I say as I take my leave. I rush out of Tessco and to my car. I strap myself in and start the engine. I pull out my phone to see if Ginny called or texted and I did have two text messages. One from Ginny and one from Patty.

Ginny: hey I am already here. Hurry yo ass up.
Me: okay okay I'm on my way.

I open Patty's message.

Patty: hey love! How are you doing? I'm okay. We arrived in 'Murcia about 2 hours ago. Text me when you get this. Love ya (;
Me: hello wonderful. I was working and now I have stuff to do. I will text you when done. Love ya xx

I put my phone in the cup holder and sped off to see if I am pregnant or not. I arrived at the doctors within 10 minutes. I hurriedly rushed inside and checked in. I found where Ginny was sitting and plopped down next to her. She looks up from her magazine that she was reading so quietly.

"Your hair is a mess. You may wanna put it up." She says snickering. I roll my eyes at her and lift a hand to my hair. Wow it does feel messy. I quickly put my hair in a high ponytail. I looked to Ginny.

"Does it look okay now smart mouth?" She gives me a sly smile but nods.

"Elena Lightshade?" A nurse says. I get up, wiping my sweaty hands on my pants. The nurse smiles and leads me and Ginny to a room.
