In which Keigo has a problem.

The blonde Pro-Hero tossed in bed. He could not, for the life of him, get comfortable. He huffed and sat up, rubbing at his amber eyes. The winger hero glanced at the alarm clock on the bed table next to him. Of course. It was almost 6AM. The male wasn't sure why, but he had been waking up around 6AM every day this week. He was starting to get pissed.

He had no need to wake up early. Not unless he had work. Keigo wondered if this was just one of his stupid bird instincts. His body would just force him to get up early. And as of late it would make him tired and want to go to bed before 10PM. He didn't know if it was just his internal clock trying to reset itself or what. But this was the first time this has ever happened to him. It was getting on the blonde's nerves.

He sighed and looked at his still sleeping partner next to him. Rolling his eyes as the scarred villain was still sleeping peacefully. 'Of course he is' Keigo thought and slowly lifted the stitched together arm off of his waist and gently pulled his crimson wing out from underneath the other's body. Wincing slightly at the tugging sensation to his feathers. He folded them against his back after sending a feather to push his slippers out from under the bed. They'd all molt out in the next few days anyways.

He gave a tired sniffle and carded a hand through his hair, yawning. The male put his slippers on and slowly shuffled to the bathroom. Doing his business and washing his hands. He peaked out the door, making sure he didn't wake the other from the creaky faucet in the bathroom sink. Nope. His fiancé was still stiff as a board in bed asleep. The man just sighed and went about his morning. Knowing he wouldn't be able to get back to sleep.

He slowly made his way out of the bathroom and down the hall of their apartment. He flicked on the bright light of the kitchen. Groaning lightly as the warm glow of the light flooded his eyes and the once dark room. Keigo waited a little for his vision to settle before he went over to the cupboard above the coffee pot. Grabbing the grounds and the coffee filters. Once he set them on the counter, he moved towards the pot. Emptying the dirty filter out of it into the garbage can. The blonde glanced at the calendar and was reminded that the trash went today. He'd have to get Touya to take it down for him before work then.

Soon filling the pot's basket with a clean filter and clean coffee grounds. Keigo filled the tank on the side up with water until it reached the fill-line, and closed it up. Pressing start on the machine as he slowly stumbled out of the kitchen. The blonde's wings shuddered with the chill coming off the wooden floor in the hall. He yawned gently and went over to the living room adjacent to the kitchen. Flopping gently onto the couch, using his feather to get the remote.

The bird was rather lazy in the mornings. And he didn't have to worry much since his feathers molted out naturally and grew back within one or two days. Keigo hummed and turned the T.V. on, keeping the volume down, and flipping through the channels until he got to the news. The 24-year-old, not seeing anything of interest on, just put a random channel on. "The World's Most Mysterious". A show about the most mysterious quirks.

He starred on the show when he was just starting out with his agency. Just to get his name out in the world. It worked, because the same week, Hawks was the most searched Hero next to All Might. Keigo still believes to this day, that popularity and approval from others is the most important metric to becoming a Pro. Hence why he tries to stay popular and up to date in the younger generations. If it wasn't for the younger generation, he wouldn't have such popularity rankings. He's number one in that aspect.

Flaunting your stuff and having a flashy quirk are just pluses to that. In the corner of the T.V. screen he caught the date. 'Ahh... it's the start of the weekend...' He knew that his interns would be looking for him today. They were supposed to meet up and train. Maybe he could sneak out of it by telling them he was sick? He was feeling a little off today anyways. Keigo yawned yet again, still waking up. He heard the signature beep that the coffee was done and hummed going over to the kitchen.
