Chapter 7

In which Keigo prepares himself.

Keigo was now almost full term. Only about four weeks out to be exact. 38 weeks was treating him well. NOT! Everything hurt. His back always hurt from the extra weight he was carrying, his feet were swelled as well... and not to mention his hormones were going every which way. Some wanting him to be angry at Touya, who was now living back in the apartment, and some wanted him to fuck the scarred villain. He had no clue what to do anymore. Some days, he'd just tell Touya not to talk to him or touch him. And then within that same hour, he's crying since the other is ignoring him.

Touya was on his toes at all times because of the other's moods. But, he was thankful this was almost over. They were in the homestretch. Theoretically, the baby could be born any day. And they still weren't all fully prepared. The nursery, an extra room aside of the main bedroom, wasn't completely finished yet. Keigo still hadn't finished with his birth plan. And to top it all off, they still didn't have a name. Well, they had a few suggestions, but none that they could ever settle or agree on together.

And many people have told the blonde, "Oh, you'll be able to name him when you see him! It'll come right to you!" But Keigo was nervous. What if it didn't? He couldn't just have an unnamed child! Currently, the pregnant male was sitting on the couch balancing a bowl on his belly as he was watching the news. Apparently the L. O. V., better known as the Vanguard Action Squad, had struck again.
"You best be careful with your heists. I don't need you being taken away when I'm in labor. You better not miss the birth of your son." He said to the scarred male who was coming in to sit down as well. Touya just leaned down and kissed his cheek before sitting.

"I'm not going to be taken away and locked up any time soon. Crusty's already got that figured out for me." He hummed gently. Keigo eyed him up and continued to eat from his bowl. Reaching to rub the side of his already huge bump as he felt some very pronounced kicks. Probably since the bowl was fairly cold. The baby not seeming to like cold things too much. He tried not to be too annoyed knowing that he'd probably miss this kind of feeling when the baby was actually here.
"What're you thinkin' about, Birdie?" Touya asked from his seat on the couch. Keigo looked up and shrugged.
"Nothing much... just about what he's gonna be like." He said softly as he set the now empty bowl down and lifted his shirt to reveal his bump. He placed a hand on either side and watched the mound. Smiling a little when he saw movement.

Touya shuddered.
"I can't imagine that feels good." He said, "Looks like the fuckin Chestburster or whatever the hell they're called." He said as he put a hand on his own abbed stomach. Keigo laughed at the burnt human.
"It feels weird, but it's not that bad... You just get used to it after a while." The blonde said softly. Touya still shook his head, but scooted closer and reached to put a hand on his belly. Gently thumbing the spot where the kicks were the most. Keigo smiled as Touya became soft. A side of the villain only he ever really got to see.

"I'm sure they'd respond if they heard you." The blonde tried to get him to interact. He knew Touya was always cautious of the bump. Whenever he would accidentally bump into him, he'd make sure he was alright and nothing happened, or he'd always make sure Kaigo was comfortable in any situation before taking care of himself. Touya looked up at the other and hesitantly nodded. Kneeling down off the couch and sitting in front of Keigo's bump on the floor. Leaning closer to kiss the other's belly gently. Smiling a little as he saw the movement from within.

"Hey there kiddo... I'm your Daddy...." he started still unsure of how to talk to their unborn son. "It's almost time for you to come out. I know you might not be over the moon excited since it's warm and cozy in there, but your day's comin' soon. Your Papa and I have your nursery just about set up little bean, all we need now is you." Touya said. Smiling a little more each time there was a kick in response to his voice. Keigo watched happily as they bonded. Letting out a soft chirp to show how he was feeling. Touya looked up when he heard the chirp. Humming softly and standing up. He leaned down and kissed Keigo's cheek. It being one of the very few kisses they had shared since they had gotten back together.
