In which Keigo gets
a happy ending.
————————Keigo was just about ready for his and Touya's outing. He had to leave Haruki behind for the outing since, well... he didn't really know why. That's what Touya had told him to do. It was hard to leave the little boy in the care of someone else. Even if that person was his closest bunny friend. He ran over the list of things again with Rumi before Touya came back upstairs from the garage wondering what was taking him so long.
"Kei? Whats taking so long, babe?" The burnt male said coming back into the room.Keigo looked back at him and sighed.
"I just want to make sure everything is in order. I promise I'll be out soon!" He said as he turned back to Rumi.
"Alright okay..." he said getting a little annoyed with the other fretting. Touya knew their friend was more than capable of taking care of Haruki. And on top of that, he also knew that Rumi would give her life to protect Haruki. Not that it would ever come to that, but if it were, that would be the answer. He sighed and tapped his foot as Keigo continued to make sure Haruki was alright in his little swaddle. Eventually though, the blonde was on his way out the door. Touya gave a small smile and took his hand. Leading him down to the car. Letting him get in before closing the door for him and getting in on the driver's side. After they all were settled and buckled up, the drive started. Keigo had little to no idea where they were going, just that he'd enjoy it.
Touya was hoping the other would give the answer he was looking for. He had been planning this for about a month. After almost six months of being back together with Keigo, they were just as close, if not more than when he left. He was going to propose. The League had gone over the game plan with him multiple times over the week. And now that it was the fated weekend, he was ready. Well, as ready as he'd ever be.
Keigo looked over from his seat and noticed he was looking a little pale. Maybe even, dare he say, nervous. He's never seen the other nervous. This was a first.
"Are you alright?" He asked the other.
"Hmm?" Touya looked up over from the road and out of his trance. "Oh... yeah. I'm fine. Perfectly fine." He said covering rather awkwardly. Keigo still eyed him up but nodded as he left the other go. The rest of the drive was silent and awkward. None of them seeming to find something to say to one another.Eventually though, they made it to their destination. A high end restaurant that just so happened to be one of Keigo's favorites. The blonde looked over, a little suspicious of the other and his intentions on bringing him here. He hummed and looked at the scarred male and got up out of the car. Smiling as Touya held his hand to lead him inside. They were led to a table, presumably Touya made a reservation. Keigo smiled at the surroundings. The restaurant being as beautiful and fancy as he remembered.
He smiled as the waiter left them get settled before he came back with a bottle of Keigo's favorite wine and set it in a bucket of ice on the table for them. The blonde was overjoyed at this date with his lover. He smiled softly and gently reached to pop open the wine before pouring himself a small glass. Sipping the fermented liquid as he exhaled softly. Reveling in the taste of it. Humming softly as he set the glass down.
"So... why did you bring me here? I know you wouldn't do this just for no reason." Keigo asked the other gently. Wanting to know if their was an actual reason or if the other was still apologizing for leaving him when he found out about becoming a father.
"Well, there is a reason, but you'll find out what that is a little later on." Touya replied as he smirked gently. Keigo rolled his eyes.
"Tou, you know I hate surprises! The last time I got an actual surprise-" Keigo started but was interrupted by Touya finishing his sentence since he's heard it at least a thousand times.
