In which Keigo gets a shock.
————————

Keigo was sitting down on his couch. Scrolling through his phone. He was nearing his fifth month, already halfway over with his pregnancy. And he was starting to sport a bump to prove that. The blonde had first been upset at the fact that his once taught abs were rounding out into a bump, but he was fairly happy that he was able to find out the gender of his baby. To which he was keeping it a secret from those around him. Even the female bunny best friend that he had known for years had no idea. He sighed softly and put a hand on his tiny belly, rubbing it gently. Wondering what the kid would look like.

Who they would take after more. Would they be a hybrid like he is and have some sort of mutation quirk like his Wings? Or would he have a more tame emitter quirk like its father. He frowned a little as his mind wondered to the father of his baby. He still hadn't heard anything from the other. Sitting up a little, he thought about what he would do if Touya didn't respond before the baby was born. Would he still want the other to be in his kids life? He assumed that the other had jut gotten scared and upset over the fact that his quirk might be passed on to his biological child.

And as much as the thought scared Keigo as well, he was willing to try and help his child if it ever came to that. He was hoping it wouldn't, and that the quirk would be something a little easier to work with. Or something similar in nature to his wings. But he knew that life didn't always work out that way. And if it did in fact end up that the kid would grow up and get their fathers quirk or something of the like, then... So be it. The bird gave a small hum as he decided not to really think about it. He knew stressing over things wasn't good for him.He slowly stood up from his couch and stretched. His shirt riding up a little over top of his belly. He pulled it back down and sighed softly as the fabric was starting to feel a little too tight around his stomach.

Rumi had tried to convince him multiple times to go clothes shopping with him. But most of the maternity clothes weren't ones he was comfortable with, since they didn't have slots for his wings. So he had to spend a little extra to have a few shirts and things special made for him. Most of his clothing was specially made for him anyways, but now he had to have it almost two sizes bigger. Even now Keigo didn't like having a baby bump. But he knew there was nothing he could do and that it would only get bigger. But he hasn't worn jeans since the beginning of his 3rd month. With the constant feeling of being bloated and swelled, it made him uncomfortable.

So now his life was oversized shirts and sweatpants. The bird sighed as he stretched out his wings. Being careful not to knock anything over. Soon folding them back against his torso and starting to head towards the kitchen. He probably should get a jump on dinner. Already having a meal planned out, just needed the prep time.
"Mm are you gonna let me eat today or not squirt?" Keigo talked to his stomach knowing last time he was in the mood for something and then ended up getting sick off of it later on. He didn't expect an answer, of course, but it was still nice to talk to them.

He'd been reading up on different topics and read that if you talk to the baby while it's still in the womb, then it would help them recognize the parent's voice(s) after they're born. So daily he'd just stop and talk to himself and his baby. Even though he knew that he wouldn't get a response. Or so he thought. He hummed and started reading some of the labels to make sure he wouldn't be ingesting anything harmful when he felt it happen. Keigo immediately gasped and put a hand to his bump. Freezing up to see if it would happen again. The blonde's mind was racing. Did he just feel a kick? No... It couldn't have been. He tried to think back to his last appointment. He had found out the gender and had also been told he might be able to feel the baby move or kick in the nearing weeks.
