Shuichis POV

I just lost Kaede.. it hurts me a lot I really thought of her as a real close friend, I just don't see her murdering anyone she's too sweet for that. "SHU-KUN!" I heard someone yell my name in such a childish voice, "Kokichi?" I question as the small boy runs over and hugs me tightly then looks up with a bright smile on his face. "I'm not in the mood Kokichi." I push him off of me and cross my arms.

"Shumai. You took of your emo hat?" The little purple boy bounced, "H-huh? What kind of nickname is that!" I blush lightly and turn my head, I'm pretty easily embarrassed but this was a new nickname I've never heard before. "Nishihihi! Shumai do you like that name?" The liar grabbed my hands eagerly awaiting a response, I shook my head even though that may have been a lie because I thought it was a sweet name. He looks at me dead in the eyes and laughs "That was such a lie Shu! Nishihihi!!!"

I sigh "Fine, it's ok..Just stop holding my hands.." I'm trying my best not to become a mess of blush because he had been holding my hands for awhile. He jumps back quickly and I can clearly see blush on his pale skin as he hides his face in his scarf.

Kokichis POV

Oh no, what have I done? What if me holding Shumais hands made him think I'm weird. I bury my face in my scarf knowing I'm probably embarrassed but I'm not going to show that. "Let's just get going.." Shuichi started walking away towards where everyone else was. "Shuichi." He stopped dead in his tracks and turned back to look at me.

"What's wrong Kokichi?" He asked me with a serious look on his face, I'm shaking and thinking about what he will answer to what I'm about to say "Did...Did you love Kaede...?" I pull my scarf over my mouth slightly as I said it making it sound kind of muffled, his face went from serious to shocked. Oh fuck me why did I say that! I'm an idiot! He just lost Kaede and if he did love her he's probably going to get upset!

He looks at me surprised in why I asked such a question..and I was waiting for my answer..

Shuichis POV

Why would he care about my feelings on Kaede? Did he know I was sad about one of my best friends dying. I did like her but only as a friend nothing more. I shook my head "Not really, she was more of a close friend." I say with a small smile on my face, I know he's a liar but I wouldn't lie to him.

"Why are you so concerned about me?" I question him, his hair is covering his eyes and he is still hiding in his scarf, it's silent and I'm thinking if I've said something wrong.. "Shumai." He looks up at me with a glisten in his eyes "Because I love you." My eyes widened at what the smaller male had just said to me, he looked so sweet and i honestly did feel the same towards him.

My face is red and I try to pull my hat over my face but I then remembered I don't wear it anymore..

Nobody's POV

Shuichi looks at Kokichi still focusing on the sparkle in his eyes, Shuichi thought this was cute but didn't know if Kokichi was playing with his feelings or not. "Y-you like M-me?" Shuichi stutters Probably in high shock, he couldn't say he didn't feel the same way because he knew he did love the smaller boy.

It was silent and that silence was broken when Angie burst into the hallway where the two boys were. "Oh my! Atua said you'd both be here!" She clapped in delight "Would you like to join the rest of us in a game to cheer up?" She was super excited
