Kokichis POV

"SHUICHI NO!" I cried out as my beloved was in the spot where I was supposed to be...a hard block of iron crushing him because he saved me..
"PLEASE SHUICHI!" I bang my fists On the iron block that had crushed my beloved in anger

It broke me, the last thing I saw was his blood streaming from under the block of which was supposed to be mine...but he wouldn't allow me to die..."SHUICHI..."

Silence filled the room as Kaito and Maki stared at me anger in their eyes "YOU IDIOT!" Maki screamed in anger pointing a finger into my face "HE DIED TRYING TO SAVE YOU, A FUCKING, NO GOOD, ANNOYING, LIAR!"

Kaito shook his head with pure hate in my direction, it's my fault he's dead..if I never got myself into this situation he wouldn't need to save me..

Kaito grabbed Makis hand and walked out of the room going to get the others, they are probably going to blame this on me, I couldn't fight back, nobody would believe me.

"Kokichi?" I swing my head around to see my beloved "Shu-Shu?..." I look at him, my eyes widen because of what I'm seeing. He smiled at me.

"SHUMAI..!" I run towards him running and jumping at him to embrace him In a hug but I fall right through his body, "Shumai..?"

He sighs, "You can't touch a figment of your imagination." He laughs "no no, you're not a figment of my imagination!" I fight back at him "You're my beloved.."

He puts his hand on my head, so I can't touch him but he can touch me? His touch is cold and his body is slightly see through. "How can you touch me..?" I question him.

"Because you're the one that's thinking about me right?" He smiles once again "That...kind of makes sense.." so I feel him because I am thinking of him touching me? That's kinda weird..

I smirk "So I can imagine anything I want with you Shuichi?~" I playfully say to him, I heard and small gasp and a slight pink colour flushed over his face. "Well..I guess.." he hesitated

"Nishihi! I'm kidding! I wouldn't do that!" I hear him give a small sigh of relief "But." I look at him with a smile. He looks confused "Can I kiss a figment of my imagination?" I question.

He face was completely covered in pinkish red blush but it was still see through which was weird but cute...this was making me feel better...

"Y-you want to find out?" He holds his hands together tightly with a small glisten in his eye. My eyes widen, so it means he was willing to kiss me? No. Not real Shuichi would say that to me..

"Always willing to try new things!" I say getting a little closer to him eagerly, "Uh.." I looked up at him "You're too tal-" he crouches down and pulls me into a kiss

His face Is red and he's embarrassed "Nishihihihihi! It worked!" I bounce, I was surprised I could kiss someone who isn't actually here.."Shuichi, I've always wanted to do that..."

He looks at me with a small smile, "I know, I wanted to too.." I look at him with sadness in my eyes "Why are you so sad..?" He asks

I know this isn't real..I just don't want to tell myself it is. I'd rather lie to myself and keep being with him. "You're not actually here...I'm just thinking of what I want you to say...that's how it works right??"

A silence fills the room as we look at eachother despair in both our eyes. The silence is broke by the pain I feel "GAH!" I grab my arm and fall to the floor,

"SHIT, SHIT, SHIT." I cry out from the pain, the pain makes my concentration start to crack, Shuichi starts to vanish..."NO, NOT AGAIN, DON'T GO AGAIN!" I cry trying to keep. Thinking about him but all I can think about is the pain...

It's the poison...the arrows...I remember I didn't get the antidote for it... Now I'm going to sit here in pain...

"It hurts so bad... Shuichi..." I cry.
He stands there with a worried look on his face as I close my eyes trying to forget the pain.

My eyes open and in front of me is my beloved Shuichi waiting for me. A smile on his face and his arms wide open. I got up and rushed towards him jumping into his arms falling ontop of him tears streaming down my face

"Shuichi You're ok.." I hug him tighter enjoying his warm embrace, his fingers run through my hair and he rids my tears by kissing them away.

"I'm sorry I left you... I'll never leave you again..."

Nobody's POV

Maki and Kaito rushed out to tell everyone the death of Shuichi and they were going to blame Kokichi for it. Kaito was willing to sacrifice his life for Makis escape but I'm sure nobody else wanted to die.

"G-GUYS.." They ran in the room where the rest of the students were, "IT'S SHUICHI. HE'S DEAD!" the students gasped in horror at what they just heard, The only one who could solve these horrific trials..was dead.

"IT WAS KOKICHI. HE CRUSHED HIM-" Maki yelled at everyone (now who's a liar huh?) As she runs down the hall to the room with the others quickly running behind her.

They entered the room and everyone gasped in horror, Shuichi was crushed only his hand sticking out of the hydraulic press... And a dead Kokichi holding his beloveds hand as blood was spilt out his mouth.

Maki and Kaito gasped forgetting completely about the poison, their plan was ruined by the death of the boy. Himiko rushed over to the boy checking the wounds he hand, "He was shot with an arrow, it was poisoned." She weakly said tears pricking her eyes

The two real murderers realized what they had done, everyone else was looking at them knowing it was them, both of them murdering two people in one single day.

Shuichis POV

I remember being with the small boy..he wanted to keep me alive but I wanted the same for him.. I saw him in that moment and I had to do something, I went in and saved the small boy but got killed myself doing so. Before the iron block crushed me all I heard were screams and muffled crying from Kokichi.

"SHUICHI NO-" was what I last remember hearing.

But now..

He's here.. how? Was it a double murder? Kaito and Maki still wanted to kill Kokichi that bad? How cruel.

"Kokichi." I wait for him to wake up..
Finally he wakes up, I gasp in relief and hold my arms out waiting for him to start crying knowing he'd need comfort..

I kiss him trying to calm him down and it does..

I promise to him..."I'll never leave you again..." He smiles and the last of his tears run down his face.

"I love you Shu-Shu."

"I love you too Ko."
