It was noon and I was sitting on Luke's couch next to Mia.

"Keely, you should come listen to us practice." Luke said walking into the room Mia and I were at.

"Practice?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Oh yeah, I guess during our phone calls it didn't come up, they have been practicing together as a band." Mia explained.

"You guys a band?"

They're a band?

"Well, not quite. We've just been messing around. We put some covers of songs on YouTube.."

"So you Ash, Calum, and Michael are in a band." I clarified.

He nodded. Cool. I always knew that Ashton was talented with music.

"Well then yes. Play me a song." I demanded.

He smiled and Mia and followed him to where the boys were at. I knew Ashton would always pursue his music career some how but I never would have guessed it would be with his two childhood friends and my ex-boyfriend. Oh well.

"What do you want us to play?" Calum asked.

"What can you play?"

Let all decided on playing one of my favorite songs 'Teenage Dirtbag.' I'm excited to hear this. I've always loved this song for some reason.

"Her name is Noel, I have a dream about her, she rings my bell, I got gym class in half an hour. Oh how she rock, in Ked's and tube socks, but she doesn't know who I am, and she doesn't give damn about me."

"Cause I'm teenage dirtbag baby. I'm just a teenage dirtbag baby. Listen to Iron Maiden baby with me. Ooh."

Michael strummed his guitar for a while before Luke began to sing.

"Her boyfriend's a dick. He brings a gun to school, and he'd simply kick, my ass if he knew the truth he lives on block, and drives an Iroc, but he doesn't know who I am. He doesn't give a damn about me."

I stood up and clapped wildly. I brought all the boys into a hug.

"Ashton your drumming skills...Luke I didn't know you could sing that well. Actually I did, but Calum you were amazing too! Michael, I knew you could play guitar and sing very well...but I didn't know you guys worked so well together!" I yelled jumping up and down.

Ashton laughed, "You can stop jumping KiKi."

I stopped jumping and pouted.

"Oh, don't whine." He said and hugged me again.

"You guys are actually just amazing." I smiled proudly.

"I know, they are aren't they?" Mia asked walking over towards Luke.

I nodded. Wow the boys were good. I mean, I new they had talent but they sound phenomenal together.

We all walked back to the living room to watch tv. The tv show we were watching was called 'Friends.' I've heard of the series but never actually watched it. As we were all claiming out spots on the couch a thought occurred to me.

"Uhm. I don't want to damper anyone's positive behavior but where am I going to stay? I don't want to take up Luke's house. Plus all of my clothes are in a bag and they're getting wrinkly."

"I would offer you to stay at mine but currently I'm living at Luke's and in my Mum's basement." Mia said giving me a sympathetic look.

I sighed and placed my head in my hands.

"You can stay at mine..."

I looked up to see who said that and it was Michael. Great. It's not like I have another option.

"It's the least I could do considering..."

Wow Michael way to make things awkward. Idiot.

"I don't know." I said unsure, "but I have no other choice, so I guess okay."

He nodded but then smiled to himself.

I had my bags in my hands and was standing at the doorway of Michael's house. He knocked on the door and Mrs. Clifford answered.

"Keely?" She asked confused.

I shrugged but then laughed, "Guess I'm back."

She looked from me then to Michael.

"Well come in." She said.

Michael took my bags and went to put away my stuff.

"Keely!? Why in the hell did you forgive Michael? I'm disappointed in him! Me! And I'm his mother. Honey, I love Michael, and I see how much you mean to him, but you can't forgive him if he keeps hurting you! I'm trying to be a mother on both sides here and it's hard."

"Michael and I aren't back together," I clarified, "But I have no where to stay and he offered..."

She smiled, "Your always welcome here."

I gave her a faint smile back and hugged her.

"Thank you." I whispered closing my eyes.

"Anything for you Keely."

This made me think of my Mum. She was always a kind lady. I don't know what happened. I mean she's judgmental and can be cold hearted sometimes but for the most part she's always been there for me. She's always had a nice gentle voice that she used to sing to me when I was little. My Mum was always a beautiful woman, and you can still catch it in glimpses. Every then and now when she laughs, you can see through the years of stress and depression and I miss her. I just miss her.
