1 week later-

"KEELY COME ON!" Jackie yelled.

I groaned in response. She said she was taking me shopping so I could look fabulous when Michael got here. I knew I was more girly, but I only like shoe shopping. To be honest I'm just to lazy to try anything on. I liked to get clothes, just not try them on. She walked over to our couch and literally dragged me off it.

"Since when did you become so strong?"

She let go of my arm and put her hands on her hips, "Shopping is my super power."

So we where in PacSun. I love PacSun, everything there is adorable. So far I've bought four crop tops, two more high-waisted shorts, and two more high-waisted skirts. I also bought a few graphic muscle tanks. Yeah, this was expensive but Jackie is INSANE with coupons. Also that promotion in job gave me more money then I needed, my job may be boring sometimes but I like it I guess. As we were checking out the cashier winked at me. He had dark brownish black hair and piercing blue eyes. I gave him a disgusted look which just made him smirk.

I took my clothes off the counter about to leave with Jackie but he grabbed my wrist, "Meet me here at 7?"

"I have a boyfriend." I lied.

He scoffed not letting go of my wrist, "Who?"

"Michael Clifford."

"Ohh that rock band dude. He doesn't have to know." He said.

"Get you dirty hands off her you nasty." Jackie said. She took my shopping bag and hit him in the head. He let go of my wrist and Jackie and I ran.

"Why is every guy here a douchebag?" I asked.

"Hell if I know." She answered.

We just kept walking towards her car in silence. That guy was a nasty little shit. He had one of those ugly smirks. If he wasn't such a shit I might consider being friends with him. He was hot, but I do really love Michael a lot.

I sighed when we got into our apartment. Jackie went upstairs and I just fell down on the couch. It was 5pm. I'm kind of hungry. I shrugged to myself as I got out the leftover pizza from last night, heating it up. As I waited for it to be done I looked down at myself. I feel so different. I look so different. I guess I never notice that much of a change because it happened over a period of time. But to Michael, I would look like someone he didn't know. I hope he likes the new me. I changed in hopes he would like me better. As my pizza was done I took it out and when to the balcony of our apartment. I looked out at all of the city lights and all of the people below. How in the hell...did my life turn to this. Normally I would be at home, in my room, with Ash while my parents make dinner. Ash and I would be looking at colleges and apply for the same ones. Now we're thousand of miles away, my family is broken, my heart is broken, and I've broken someone else. But if I hadn't talked to Michael that day in school, if Vincent wouldn't have been bullied, if I wouldn't have said yes to going to that party with Ashton, I never would have met Michael. And yeah I'm different, but pain changes people.

Pain. Changes. People.
