S1 Episode 16: Megatron Rising (Part 1)

A storm blowing across Detroit, but from with the professor's lab no one seem to mind. "It was lucky we found your body in the woods before that storm hit. There's no telling what kind of damage those conditions could have caused. Although this circuitry survived remarkable well considering how long it was exposed to the elements.", Mr. Sumdac stated, as he starts to work on Megatron's body.

"Cybertronian technology can with stand more than what this pathetic planet can dish off.", Megatron mumbled, as he watched the professor work. Then, the power went off.

"What's happening? Is there some kind of malfunction?", Megatron asked, clearly not pleased. "Until the power can come back on, the entire tower is being run by a emergency generator, apparently it can't take the overload.", Mr. Sumdac replied.

"Then, shut the rest of the building down! Nothing is more important than these upgrades! Do you hear me, human?! Nothing!!", Megatron shouted out, angrily. The professor was taken a back from Megatron's actions.

"But I-", Mr. Sumdac tried to said, before being cut off. "I only mean that any day now the Decepticons will make their move on your people and this planet and on the princess. I must be ready to battle along side my Autobots brothers.", Megatron said, trying to clear up his little outburst and hide the distaste in his voice.

Sari then came onto the computer screen. "Hi dad! I, um, tried to use my key to get the generator back up.", Sari said.

Then, there was a explosion. "But, I think it just made things worse.", Sari continued.

The professor sighed, tired from all the stress on his shoulders. "I'll be right there. I'm sure I can find a way to cut the power to all the non essential areas of the tower.", Mr. Sumdac said, as he walked out the door.

"Will these infernal set backs never end?! The child's key contains the power I need to make my triumphant return. But, how to obtain it, when I'm trapped in this lab, surrounded by enemies? Unless Lugnut is still online.", Megatron said. In the forest, Blitszwing was trying to gather Lugnut's missing body parts and attaching them to himself.

"Almost, got it!", Crazy exclaimed, as he fell down backwards with Lugnut's shoulder pad. "Good as new!", Crazy continued.

Then, Lugnut came stomping by. "Fool! That was mine!", Lugnut growled.

"Yes, but I doubt it will do you much good at this point.", Icy replied. "Give me that! Or I will pulverize your pistons!", Lugnut shouted out, as he tugged to get his armor back.

Then, Blitszwing changed to Hothead and threw Lugnut over him. Then, turning to Crazy and grabbing the shoulder pad and threw it at him, laughing.

"Are you two rust buckets done yet?!", Starscream yelled out. "The only reason you yammering bucket heads are still online is because of me! The supreme leader you have chosen to crush the Autobots, lead the Decepticons to victory, and take the princess!", Starscrem continued.

"You were not chosen!", Lugnut said, as Icy pointed out. "True, you did threaten us.", Icy added.

"SILENCE! My point is that we now stand on the very premises of destiny. The Allspark is within reach and it's power and the princess... Will... Be... Mine!", Starscream shouted out. But, Lugnut wasn't listening, as Megatron contacted him.

"Lugnut, my loyal servant. Your leader needs you.", Megatron said. Kneeling Lugnut replied, "Master!"

Starscream mistook this as loyalty for himself. "That's more like it.", Starscream said.

"Please forgive me for failing you, my liege.", Lugnut said. Starscream tries to hold in his confusion.

"Alright, just don't let it happen again.", Starscream told him. "The past is of no consequence, Lugnut. A much more vital mission is now at hand. That key which the Autobots possess...", Megatron replied.
