S3 Episode 5: Where Is Thy Sting?

The Elite Guards ship made its way through space. "Sentinel Prime, what are you doing in the Earth's sector? Return to Cybertron immediately!", Longarm said, trying his best not to panic.

"With all due respect, Longarm. Your the one who sent us to intercept Decepticon double agent, Wasp.", Sentinel explained, reading an eyebrow. "I don't care! I explicitly ordered that all contracts with Earth be filtered through me! As chief of Autobot Intel, why was I not informed of this?!", Longarm said.

Ultra Magnus then appeared on the screen. "My apologies, Longarm Prime. But, we didn't want to risk tipping Wasp off. Not when he can lead us directly to his Decepticon contact. Besides, I wanted Sentinel to make contact with the team there and my niece... I wish to speak with her.", Ultra Magnus told him.

Jazz then looked at the tractor. "Only he ain't heading for the Decepticons, Sir. Our scans show Wasp on a beeline for the Autobot's base.", Jazz said.

"Has Optimus Prime, Princess Serenity, or any of his crew made contact with you?", Longarm asked. "No one has heard on word from those goof bots in nearly a decacycle. But, the princess has been sending me some love letters lately.", Sentinel lied.

"Corse it's kind of hard to get a signal to Earth with all this moisture in the atmosphere.", Jazz added. "I'm sure Optimus Prime, Serenity, and their bots are already on top of the situation.", Ultra Magnus said, having full confidence in them.

On Earth, it was pouring rain outside. Optimus and Serenity were seen watching the rain as it fell.

Serenity shivered slightly, as Optimus wrapped his arms around her. "Are you cold?", Optimus asked.

"Just a little. More than anything, I'm worried about my uncle and Cybertron.", Serenity replied. Optimus then looked down at her, thinking he was the luckiest bot alive.

"Everything will be okay.", Optimus reassured her. Serenity continued to look outside and struggle further into Optimus's arms.

"Do you ever miss it?", Serenity asked. "What?", Optimus asked her.

"Home... Cybertron?", Serenity asked. "Sometimes. But, being here with you makes it easier.", Optimus replied.

Serenity turned and kissed him on the cheek. "I can always say the same about you, my love.", Serenity said.

Optimus then hugged her tighter. "But, Optimus... If things go wrong, I'll need to go back to Cybertron.", Serenity continued.

Optimus looked up at the clouds. "Nothing will go wrong. I'll protect you and Cybertron with all my spark.", Optimus said.

Serenity pulled away and looked into Optimus's eyes. "But, Optimus! You can't protect everything.", Serenity said.

"Then, I'll protect what I care about the most.", Optimus said. Then, like a magnetic, Optimus and Serenity were coming closer.

Their lips inches away... "Serenity!", Sari called out.

The moment was soon broken. Serenity then turned on her comm.

"Yeah, Sari? What is it?", Serenity asked. "Can you come over here? I've been reading all the Cybertronian history you gave me. But, I came across the part about... Mom. Never going to get used to that. Anyway, can you come over to help me? I feel like I would get a better connection about her if I hear it from you.", Sari replied.

Serenity looked at Optimus, as he nodded. "Be there in a few nano clicks.", Serenity said. She then looked up at Optimus.

"See you later?", Serenity asked. "Like anything could keep us apart.", Optimus said, as Serenity smiled and drove away.
