I'm here alone at my favorite coffee shop because my dear friend Zayn ditched me again for the nth time so he can be with her not so pretty girlfriend.
I ordered my fave Java Chip Frappuccino and sat at my usual spot. I'm glad that no one is sitting there at this time of day. People who come here usually love this spot because of the nice view that you can see outside.
"Hello Lady Crest, here's your fave Java Chip Frappuccino and Bacon, Sausage and Egg Wrap." Nico said and put the said order on my table
Yeah he already know my name because he's my cousin and I also know all of the names of the employees here kasi lagi nga akong nandito. I'm a regular costumer.
Nagtataka ko syang tinignan. "I didn't order this." Sabi ko at tinuro ang Bacon, Sausage and Egg Wrap na inihanda nya
"May nagpapabigay po sa inyo, Lady Crest. Sige po maiwan ko na po kayo." sabi nya at aalis na sana pero pinigilan ko sya
"Sino ang nagpapabigay, Nico?" tanong ko sa kanya
"Ahhh ano kase Lady Crest, hindi ko po pwede sabihin." nakatungong sabi nito
Alam kong hindi nya na talaga sasabihin sa akin kung sino ang nagbigay sa akin non kaya binitawan ko na sya.
"Tell him that I said thank you."
Nanlaki naman ang mga mata nya at napalingon sa akin. "Paano mo nalaman na lalaki ang nagpapabigay, Ate Crest?" gulat na tanong nya
Nginisian ko lang sya. "Basta alam ko lang, sige na balik ka na sa work mo baka matanggal ka pa dito at ako pa sisihin ni tita. Alis na!" pagtataboy ko sa kanya
"Sige, Ate." sagot nito at umalis na
Kinuha ko nalang ang libro ko mula sa bag ko at nagumpisa ng magbasa habang kinakain yung bacon wrap na binigay sakin ng kung sino man.
"Hello, can I sit here with you?"
Someone asked me so I looked up and saw you. You're the one who gave me the food that I'm eating.
"Sure, thanks for the free food anyways." sagot ko sayo
"What the? Did that kid told you?" You asked me
"Nope. My cousin is so kind to break his promise to you." I said to you and sipped my frappuccino
"Then how did you?" Takang tanong mo
"Instinct, I guess? When I was at the counter I can sense that someone is staring my back so when I got off to search for a seat, I looked at who's the one next inline and that was you, Mister." I simply answered your question
"You're pretty clever." You complemented me
"Thank you." I replied casually
"Your name is Crest, right?" tanong mo sa akin
"Nope. It's Crescent. Call me Crescent. Hindi naman kita close para tawagin mo akong Crest."
"Ang sungit mo naman, Lady Crescent." natatawa mong sabi
"What do you need? My number? Just give me your phone, already." Inis na tanong ko sa sayo at inilahad ang palad ko
"Having you around is irritating me and I don't know why. Maybe because you look like you want to flirt with me. So be frank will yah?" dagdag ko pa
"Fine, fine. Hindi lang iyon ang gusto ko. I want you to be my girlfriend." seryosong sabi mo
"Why me?" Takang tanong ko
"Kilala mo naman siguro ako diba?" tanong mo
"No. I don't recognize you." Seryosong sagot ko
"Seryoso ka?" Tanong mo kaya tumango ako.
"You're unbelievable. We go to the same school. At hindi lang yon I'm famous to girls because I'm handsome." Pagmamalaki mo
"And so? That doesn't change the fact that I don't know you. So why me nga?" mataray na sabi ko sayo
Napabuntong hininga ka bigla.
"Like I said we both attend the same school and I know you not by you're name though. Lagi kitang nakikita sa saan mang sulok ng school na puntahan ko, hindi ko rin alam kung bakit. And I'm also wondering why hindi mo ako kilala." takang sabi mo
"Maybe because I don't care." kibit balikat na sagot ko
"I know you for two years already pero ngayon ko lang nalaman ang pangalan mo at ngayon lang rin ako nagkalakas ng loob na magpakilala sayo. And I want you to be my girlfriend, please say yes?" tanong mo pa
"Don't be so fast, boy. I don't even know you. You need to court me first. Make me say yes. Kailangan mo iyong paghirapan noh." Nakangisi kong sabi sayo
You said you will court me so I let you. Days passed and the days becomes weeks then the weeks become months.
Then one day, I finally said yes to you and you we're very happy when I became your girlfriend.
And today is our very first anniversary, love. I want you to know that I love you, always.
