Ae-Ra enjoys poking at Jimin's cheeks, so this is his way of payback towards her. This is also his way of her making her quiet when she starts to ramble. Sometimes Rae overthinks situations and starts to get worried which causes her to talk excessively. Jimin starts to squish her cheeks together so she will stop, and then uses her silence to start talking and comfort her.

As many people know, Jimin and Rae are very close since they have been friends for many years. This means that they both usually tell each other lots of things, so whenever Ae-Ra gets a call and Jimin and her are together, she usually either tells him what the tea is, or just puts it on speaker. He mostly gives advice on what to say if she is unable to think of anything.
