"Princess! You mustn't run away from home again! I'm gonna get executed if you keep this up!" Claire's servant, Ross, says. He huffs in annoyance.

"Yeah, yeah, you say that every time, Ross, and yet you are still here nagging me." Claire replies.

"It's my job, Claire, literally, I'm paid to do it." Ross says and Claire chuckles a bit.

"Oh, I almost forgot about that ha." says Claire.

"Since you already broke outta here, tell me what happened out there. Anything interesting?" Ross asks, curious.

"Well, actually..." Claire answers.

"SPILL!" Ross yells with a smile.

"Ugh ok so there is a stupid boy" Claire starts.

"OOO A BOY!" Ross says.

Claire sighs and then continues, "And I met him actually earlier, at the ball, we danced, it was actually quite nice, until he opened his big fat mouth, he saw me without my mask and he figured out my identity, and that was the end of it I thought, right? I mean, I'm royalty, it's not like I can meet up with him, BUT he shows up at the sword duel I signed up for, like WHAT, WHAT, WHY GOD, I couldn't believe it and neither could he from the looks of it. We ended up dueling and, of course, I won, and then he got mad and his friend stopped him, she seems cool, they went away and ate I think. Then I had to duel all the other people, which of course I won. But after it I got some money, which I didn't need, so I gave it away to some people who actually need it. And that's that."

"Okay, we need to tell your sister, she'll love the story, especially because she's been cooped up in her room ever since the ball because she was too young to go." Ross says.

"YOU KNOW THE WALLS IN THIS MANSION ARE SUPER THIN, SO I HEARD THAT WHOLE THING!" Sophie, Claire's sister, shouts from the room next to Claire's. Ross and Claire laugh as Sophie stomps out of her room to theirs.

"Hey, Sophie, how was the BaAaaAaLLLLL, ThaT I diDN't Get tO gO tOooo."  Sophie cries out, in a jokingly dramatic way, "WhYY caN'T I go Out And FaLL iN lovEEee anD dAncE."

"First of all, I am definitely NOT in love, me and that stupid kid hate each other's guts!" Claire yells back.

Both Ross and Sophie respond with, "Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure", sarcastically.

"You guys are so annoying" Claire huffs.

"Yes, but you love it." Sophie says with a smile. Ross nods in agreement.

"You better not snitch to mom and dad, Sophie" Claire says, pointing at Sophie.

"Hey! What about Ross, he could snitch too" Sophie says, defending herself.

"I know that he wouldn't do that. Also, it could make him get fire. Him letting me run away and then letting me talk to some peasant." says Claire.

"True" Ross answers.

"Ok, fine, I get it," Sophie says, "I promise not to tell mom and dad." Sophie lifts up her pinkie, to make a promise.

"I'm not a kid, Sophie, I'm just gonna trust you on this one, so put away your pinkie" Claire says with a light laugh.

"Fine, but you are technically still a kid." Sophie responds. Claire groans at the statement.

After a short moment of silence Ross says, "I hate to ruin this amazing family moment, but we need to get you changed Claire, Sophie's already changed and ready for sleep, but you, nope."

"Oh yeah, sorry, I came back pretty late" Claire replies.

"OH MY GAWD, CLAIRE YOU ARE STILL WEARING THOSE STUPID GLOVES!" Sophie yells, in realization.

"Yes, I did, you know I hate my scar Sophie, and for the ball, I didn't want it to ruin my outfit." Claire answers.

"A scar does NOT ruin an outfit, trust me, and I know that no one would even notice." says Ross.

"Yeah, sure, no one would notice a big gross gash wound" Claire replies with sarcasm dripping from each word. They ripped off their gloves and stared in disgust at their right hand.

"Claire, calm down, it's not gross, it's not, trust me" Sophie says.

"Yeah, it's not, and no one thinks that, so you shouldn't either, I'm gonna go get your clothes, so take a bath if you feel like it, which I think you should because you smell like shit" Ross says.

"Fine." Claire says, walking slowly to the bathroom. Their gait is usually confident, strong, and fast small steps, but now it is a slow, slumped shoulders, sad kinda walk. Ross and Sophie give each other a known sad look. Ross then walks to get Claire's clothes and Sophie gets back to their room to get some sleep. Claire's bath was boring, like usual. Boring. Everything is so boring. Claire thinks of breaking out again tomorrow and one face came to mind... Arthur, but Claire just shook her head and got pissed off that he's in her head. She quickly dried her hair and body and wrapped their towel around her body. They walked out to find that Ross had left her clothes out for her already. She smiled and changed. Went to bed, and that was it. Claire sighed and closed their eyes. Slept, no dream though, never a dream.
