"Okay, Beatrice, I trust you," Arthur said, "which outfit is better?" Arthur throws clothes onto his bed, next to Beatrice. There were 3 choices (I have no fashion sense, so don't judge lol):
(I have no real time period set for this story, but it's kinda medieval, but some outfits don't fit that time period, so there isn't a time period set for this.)
"3, definitely 3," Beatrice answered, "where did you even get these outfits? ARE YOU SECRETLY RICH?!"
"Nope, I kind of stole these outfits..." replied Arthur, reluctantly.
"WHY?! AND WITHOUT ME?!" Beatrice asked.
"I'm gonna hangout with the princess and I'm poor, of course I'm gonna steal some rich people clothes," responded Arthur, "and the reason I did it without you was because I thought you would think it was dumb to dress up for Claire."
Beatrice sighed and said, "Okay, you're right with thinking that I'd think it was dumb to dress up for Claire. She's seen how you dress before already, but I understand. You wanna dress up for your date-"
"DATE?! WHAT! NO! NOT A DATE!" Arthur yelled.
"Suuuuuuuuuuuure" Beatrice said, sarcastically. She gave Arthur a wink.
"I shouldn't have told you." said Arthur with an annoyed groan.
Beatrice laughed and slapped Arthur's back and said, "I'm your best friend, of course you had to tell me. And anyways, this is my new entertainment"
"Entertainment?" Arthur asked.
"Yeah, seeing both you and Claire obviously love each other, and both act like you don't matter that much to each other."
"Woah woah, love is not on the table!" Arthur exclaimed.
Beatrice sighed and continued, "Anyways, do you remember when you had that duel with her, and you hated her. Jeez, you're welcome for bringing her with us to the hideout."
"Oh shit..." Arthur said.
"What?" asked Beatrice.
"I still haven't told her about my trans shit, OR MY BI SHIT," Arthur said, his voice raising more after each word, "Oh my god, and she doesn't even know that much about me. Does she know about my art? NO! That's like my one big hobby. I don't even know her hobbies either. Damnit. She's gonna execute me. Oh my god, artists are literally the poorest people, Claire is gonna think I'm poorer than before. I-"
"Breaaaaathe, chill, dude," Beatrice interrupts, "Claire isn't like that. Do you remember when she gave away all the money? And you didn't tell me about your art shit until we knew each other for 2 years. And you didn't even tell me, I just found you sketching. And the gay stuff? Who cares, if you don't feel ready to tell her: don't. If you do, I know for a fact Claire won't 'execute' you."
"You're right, you're right" Arthur said, "thanks"
"No prob." Beatrice replied with thumbs up and a grin.
"Okay, well, I'm gonna get dressed, and then I'm gonna talk to Claire... about platonic stuff" said Arthur. He took the fancy clothes and walked to the bathroom and shut the door. He put the fancy clothes on the closed toilet. As he started to undress, he turned away from the mirror afraid to see himself. He finally took off his binder just to breathe for a second. He took a deep breathe and then exhaled and then he put his binder back on. Then Arthur put on his fancy clothes. He turned around and smirked at himself in the mirror. The mirror showed him a rich snobby rich guy. Kind of like what Darren would wear. Ok... maybe Arthur was trying to impress Claire by looking like Darren. Arthur then turned to the side to see how well the binder binded. His grin faded. He bit the inside of his cheek and held in his tears. God, he wished he could get better binders. The ones he has are stretched and no good. They were super cheap, so it makes sense. He couldn't afford to pay for a good binder. He tried to press down on his chest. It hurt, but it's fine. He could deal with it. He fixed up his collar and then walked out of the bathroom to his room.
"AYYYY, ARTHUR, YOU LOOK GOOD AS HELL" Beatrice yelled, with a smile.
"You think?" Arthur said as he gave a spin in his outfit.
"I KNOW! Claire is gonna be IN LOVE when she sees you." Beatrice answered.
"Beatie, I swear, stop using the word love!" said Arthur.
"Ok ok ok, now go get her! Woo her! Make her swoon!" Beatrice said as she pushed Arthur to get out the door and to Claire's mansion.
