I finally made it to Claire's mansion. Every time I see it, it seems bigger than before. I then found the secret entry, and crawled into it. After I went through the small entry there were stairs leading towards Claire's room. There were two routes, and I luckily remembered which led Claire's. I got to the small door and opened it. One thing I totally forgot was that the secret route led to Claire's bedroom. Claire was sitting on their bed in her room, completely unaware of me. I noticed the cute pink dress and smiled. Cute. I creeped behind her slowly, to not make noise. Then, I put both my hands, which were kinda cold from the outside (it's usually not that cold, but it was getting late, and it tends to get colder), on their exposed shoulders.
"AHHHHH!!" screamed Claire as she flipped around and pointed a mirror she was holding at me like a weapon.
"Are you gonna shoot me with that mirror, princess?" I said, chuckling under my breath. I put my hands up, mocking surrender.
Claire playfully hit me, pretending to be mad, but failing, and said, "Oh my LORD! You scared me shitless, Arthur!" Now that the action has died down, I finally got a moment to actually look at Claire. She's beautiful.
"You look really pretty," I said, "did you dress up for me??"
"Pffft, nope, no, definitely not." Claire answered defensively. I squinted at them.
"Then for what? Or who?" I replied, "I didn't know you were busy, I'll just leave then, sorry." I was joking, but Claire took it seriously.
Claire yelled, "DON'T LEAVE! FINE!" Then they whispered loud enough for me to hear, "I, I maybe did dress up for you." They were now red with embarrassment.
"It's nice. Thank you. If it makes you less embarrassed, I also dressed up ha" I replied.
"Oh yeah, you're wearing 'not homeless' clothes" commented Claire.
"That's the most annoying thing you've said, but Imma' let it slide, princess" I said.
Ignoring what I said, Claire said, "Where did you get those clothes anyway?"
"Uhhhhhhhhhh" I said.
"Did you become rich?!" Claire asked.
"No! Why does everyone think that," I answered, "...I stole it."
"WHAT!? Arthur, why?! You're a thief?!" asked Claire.
"I've never stolen before, I swear, I just wanted to wear something that's not a literal rag," I explained, "The person I stole it from wasn't using it and looked rich enough to not care. I felt awful after." There was a long silence. "I'm sorry" I added.
"It's fine, I apologize if I seemed snobby," Claire responded, "I just don't like thievery"
"That's understandable," I said, "and, weirdly, you are one of the least snobby rich person I've ever met."
"Thanks" Claire replied.
"Soooo, um, am I gonna be standing this whole time?" I asked.
"OH, you can just sit next to me" Claire said. They patted space beside her on the bed. I sat there, and I made sure there was a comfortable space between us.
"Wait, is this bed silk?" I asked.
"Yuppo" Claire answered, "Ew, I'm sorry, 'yuppo' who says that."
"I think it's cute," I replied, "Yuppo, I'm gonna use that now." We laughed. I turned around to face Claire. We were super close. The bed was large, yet we were moving towards each other. All that was heard was our breath. I kept looking down at her mouth and back up to her beautiful blue eyes. My hand went up and touched Claire's cheek gently. They gasped slightly when I touched her. It was like we were holding our breath.
"What, what are you doing?" Claire whispered under her breath.
"I don't know" I answered, truthfully. I put my other hand up and leaned in and whispered in her ear, "Is it okay if I keep going?"
"...Yeah" Claire replied, "please." My thumb ran over their pink glossy lips.
Then we kissed.
WE KISSED.
It wasn't anything crazy, but it was amazing. Their lips tasted like strawberries and honey. That might just be her lipstick.
I pulled back, and said "Are you sure yo-" Claire interrupted me with a more passionate kiss, which pushed me down on the bed. The best way to be interrupted. I was on the bed laying down, and Claire on top of me while making out with me. This must be a dream.
I stopped the kiss and said, "Let me just," and flipped her down on the bed, and now I'm on top. I had my arms pinning her down. She couldn't even look at me in the eyes, she was blushing crazy. I'm pretty sure I was blushing too. I took her chin and lifted her head to look at me. And th-
The door slammed open and there was Sophie asking, "HOW'S THE DATE, PEEPS? OH OH OH, WOW, SPICY STUFF? SORRY FOR INTERRUPTING. PLEASE, CONTINUE!" Sophie slammed the door shut, and she scurried back into her room. Claire and I just stared at each other for a while until I broke the silence, like usual.
"Your sister is truly the best cock-block." I said. We laughed so hard after that. I fell beside her. We were laying next to each other, smiling.
"I'm gonna kill Sophie when this is over." Claire said.
"Ha, that was a lot for a first 'date'." I replied.
"Yeah" Claire agreed.
"Do you remember when we first met?" I asked.
"When you faked being a general and catfished me?" Claire answered, "How could I forget?"
"We waltzed." I added.
"Yeah, and we kept stepping on each other's feet." said Claire.
"You whispered in my ear about how I sucked at dancing" I said and chuckled.
Claire eyes twinkled and she said, "I can teach you, I was taught by the best how to waltz"
"Genius idea, princess, but where would we waltz without being seen?" I asked.
Claire grinned and said, "I know a place..."
