This is bullshit.
I'm sitting in my new "bedroom", awaiting my belongings. My father alongside Antonio is bringing my things any minute now, I will be living with the Ricci's.
This is bullshit.
There was a knock on my door. I got up from my bed and walked over to the door, opening it. "Hey, your father and brother are here," Bella says.
"Thanks," I sigh and walk out, closing the door.
We walk in silence, even the elevator ride was silent. I eventually come down and see two of my suitcases along with a box of the things I requested.
"Thanks," I smile, hugging my brother.
"I thought you'd have more things," Luca said as he sat on the arm of the couch.
I shrugged, "I won't be here long." Everyone didn't say anything, great.
"Did Naomi bring my laptop along with my makeup bag? What about my journals and-"
"Yes! She even packed a few extra's," dad said, chuckling.
I give him a thank you smile. "Your mother placed your medication too. Please, Viviana, take them," he says with pleading eyes.
I glanced to see Luca raising a brow, thankfully no one else listening in. "Okay," I shrug.
"Mr. Russo, may I speak to you?" Luca asks, pointing to some door.
My father and Luca exit into another room, leaving Antonio, me and Bella. After another 10 minutes, father and Luca come out.
"We have to go, be safe, mi amore," my father says, kissing my forehead (My love).
"I will be," I smile, hugging him.
I say my goodbye's to my brother and watch them leave slowly. "Right, shall we move your things?" Elena walks in, smiling.
"Sure," I smile, grabbing my box and following the girls upstairs.
-
"Mum, this is really good," Bella says, placing a chicken in her mouth.
I awkwardly sat at the dinner table, fiddling with my salad slightly. "Thank you, darling. I got the recipe from nonna," Emma says.
"Viviana, you barely touched your salad," Mr. Ricci says, pointing his fork at my plate.
I only had lettuce and cucumbers on it. "I'm not really hungry, I'm sorry. Is it okay if I go get some sleep? I'm drained," I smile shyly.
"Of course, dear. Go, we will save you some for tomorrow," Elena says, gesturing for me to go.
"Grazie," I smile. I get up and take my plate to the kitchen before heading for the elevator.
Once I got onto my floor, I walk over to my door. I fiddled with the doorknob before a hand on my shoulder made me jump.
I turned around to see Luca standing behind me. "Cazzo, mi hai spaventato," I gasped, holding my breath. (Fuck, you scared me)
"Sorry. Why didn't you eat?" He asked, extending his arm against the wall.
I shrugged, "Not hungry. I'm tired so if you'll excuse-"
He interrupted me by grabbing hold of my wrist, bringing it up to his chest. "Tomorrow, before school, we will have breakfast. Together. In the balcony," he said, expressionless.
"It's fine, I don't-"
"Good night, Viviana!" He interrupted, letting go of my wrist and walking down the hall, opening a door and entering; his room.
I blinked slightly before opening my door and walking inside.
Fuck my life.

*The Next Day*
There was a knock.
I sighed and walked over to the door, opening it to reveal Luca. "Ciao, you ready?" He asks.
"Yes, one second," I motioned for him to stay before I ran back to grab my handbag.
I looked in the mirror, approved of what I'm wearing. "Let's go," I smile, closing my door behind me.
We walk to the elevator and hop inside. He presses the 5th floor. "I thought you had 4 floors," I state.
"We do."
I shrug and wait until the door opens. The doors open and the most beautiful rooftop garden is laid upon me.
"Wow!" I gasp, admiring the scenery.
Luca didn't say anything but walked over to a small table with two chairs, holding out my chair for me. "Thanks," I smile.
The edges of the rooftop were surrounded by leaves and flowers. There was a fire pit built in a floor, surrounded by grey couches.
Behind that, was a swimming pool. Big but not as big as the one they have in their garden.
I looked down and realised there was food in front of us. Two waffles for me and three pancakes for him - covered in butter and syrup.
"I'm really not hungry, Luca. I honestly think we should get going an-"
"Eat!" Is all he says.
I sigh and grab the fork and knife, making small cuts into the food. "Do you come up here often?" I ask, trying to build a conversation.
"Yes."
I nod my head and place my cutlery down once I swallowed. I look up to see him eyeing me, I sigh and pick up the cutlery.
"How did you know?" I sighed, not bothering to meet his eyes.
"The medication. Your body. Not that hard," he interjects, chewing his pancake.
Having an eating disorder was probably the most stressful thing my parents had to go through.
Three years.
Three fucking years it took until I was stopped being guarded like a dog. My parents put me on hospital watch for a month, I missed my grandmother's funeral. My eating disorder is part of the reason I became a part-time stripper.
"I would advise you not to tell anyone in your family, please," I said, wiping my lips with a napkin.
He looks up, "As long as you're eating, not my business." I roll my eyes and lean back, done with my food.
He clears his throat, pointing to the orange juice. "Seriously?" He nods his head and waits for me to drink it.
I grab it and chug it all down in one go. "Happy?" I smile, placing the cup back down with slight aggression.
"For someone who barely eats or drinks, you sure know how to chug liquid down," he smirks.
"I went to high school. You haven't seen shit, Ricci," I scoff, grabbing my phone which was ringing from my bag.
I check the contact name MAYA. "Sorry," I look at Luca.
"Hello?"
Stacy and Ara are at it again, where the hell are you?
"I'm-" What is this place? "Having breakfast. I'll be there soon," I ended the call.
"Come on, Ricci. We have school," I lazily grin, standing up and slinging my backpack over my shoulder.
He chuckles, "You have school. Not me, amore." I raise my brow, "You're in one of my classes."
"I went with Daniel for a mission, nothing more. I do college online," he smirks as he clicks the elevator button.
Of course, he does.
"Then why are you coming?" I asked, stepping inside the elevator.
"Someone's got to keep you safe," he winks, pressing 1.
